Shavers hit hard but a Prime Foreman hit harder than anyone ever in the game P4P...EVER

They hit hard in different ways.....Tyson had the power behind every punch..EG hook,upper,straight right all had the staem on them...Lewis threw the harder straight right hands down though

Overall Tyson easily IMO. When he was young and up and coming, his hooks and uppercuts where damn vicious! SUCH great potential he had, shame for boxing it all went tits up! Lewis obviously had a harder jab but thats all he bloddy did

When it comes down to hardest of all time, the general consensus is it's usually between Foreman and Shavers.

Yep, exactly. And next would be Tyson. Somewhere down that list a little ways would be Lewis. Tyson was the harder puncher no doubt IMO. Lewis caught a lot of these guys, after Tyson had already destroyed them, Biggs, Bruno etc. And fought Holyfield when Holy was on the downslide a little and Lewis was in his prime, whereas Tyson fought Holy when he himself was on the downslide a little and Holy was in his prime. I say Tyson, fo sure.

holyfield wasnt in his prime when he fought tyson if anything he was more on downslide then tyson losing to bowe and being exhausted after 4 rounds and losing to moorer where as tyson was champion and had blown away bruno quicker than he had in 1989

Tyson didn't hurt Ruddock? He blew him out. The only reason Ruddock got a rematch was because he had him in trouble for about 30 seconds at the end of the 6th round.

yeah and he didnt even have tyson in trouble,he hit tyson a few hard shots and tyson tapped his jaw daring ruddick to hit him again(which razor did),then the seventh round came and tyson took ruddicks best in the 6th ,chewed it up and spat it back out in the 7th.....and i beleive steele stoped the fight 5 seconds to early,had he let it go on another 20 seconds,ruddick would have been splattered all over the canvas.Then there would be no doubt,tyson was on the slide then,but still handed out a terrible beating

i agree with these guys its hard because tyson koed bruno quicker and had alot less trouble wheres as tyson struggled with ruddock and went 12 rounds where as lewis blew him out in 2 rounds both have impressive ko victorys but i would have to say tyson in his prime and im not tyson fan by any means

not a good victory in my mind but a victory non the less...tyson 86-88 would have finished ruddick in 2 rds

Whoa! both of these guys are excellent punchers but i'll give the edge to Mike because he has more assortment of powerful punches.
Lennox's best power punch is that overhand right/straight and a stiff left jab. I also saw him knock guys out with big right uppercuts.
