Could be. Very similar to a thing called subjective validation.

I hope you're using triple blind trials in your experiments Von.

    Dear Scrap et al
more than one major airline ground their pilots at critical biorythmic times (poss ref:Ostrander& Schroeder). This is not when a bio line is low,but when multiple lines converge.
I personally know of a boxer who helpfully was shown his physical line was almost down off the chart just prior to a title fight.(this coupled with it being his 13th fight). He went on to win by knockout in record time. His problem was clearly superstitious.
Circadian (24hrs) and ultradian (90 mins) rhythms can be manipulated and trained.Other threads have covered the pros/cons of training in the morning and fitting before midnight. Not much has been said about nasal rhythms and individual digestive/ sleeping patterns.
    Re water memory
It is my "belief" that enough blind trials have demonstrated efficacy above placebo such that if drug companies could patent water, they would market it (afterall they were happy to market long term calcium channel blockers despite underperforming against placebo).
If properly administered by an experienced practitioner placebo can emulate the effects of opiates in chronic pain etc.If used appropriately placebo is the most versatile of all treatments. It does potentially have many side effects however and i would advocate it being rated As a class A drug.

The placebo effect can't be discounted. Many doctors prescribe fake placebos i.e. medication with tiny amount of the active ingredient but not enough to cause an effect. They do this because in some cases the side effects of the treatment is worse than the present condition. It also means they don't have to lie to their patients. What's really interesting is that some patients report the side effects - the nocebo effect.
