I think it's good for litzau that he got KO'd.

First of all, it'll knock some of that cocky arrogance out of his head. Most people dont like that she-it! For me, I was happy he got KO'd just cause of that.

Also, what was he thinking?! He was up 4 rounds on all of the score cards but like Maj said he didnt listen to his corner. I think it's good he went out to put on an entertaining show, but after that first KD he shouldve gotten the message.

I think he'd beat Hernadez 9 out of 10 fights. This just happened to be the 1 of 10 he didn't. Though I enjoyed seeing him get KO'd, I'd think he'll come back better and smarter and would like to see him do so.

I agree for the most part... I think Litzau fought a great fight, he just got caught, it happens to lots of good fighters. Jason needs to keep his hands up better, and work on his timing , that about it,. , Hernandez was turning up the volume towards the end of the fight . After taking Jason best shots Hernandez said fuck it, lets try this mofo's chin out, and see if he can take as good as he give.

Litzau has the kind of build that is prone to getting knocked out, that long neck screams knockout ! It's going to happen to him from time time regardless of his fighting style, Example.. look a Derrick Gainer. Same type build, yet he is a running snuff queen, always on his heals , however you still catch Gainer and knock him the fuck out all the same.. I would rather go out on my shield like Litzau did. then get canvassed running my ass off. JMO

He just makes stupid mistakes. He rolls his shoulders but he doesn't move like someone who does. It's almost like he's forcing it. Look at the first knockdown, he's trying to be slick but he leaves the opening for the left uppercut and gets clocked. Then once he gets hit he drops his front shoulder and leans backwards leaving his chin completely unprotected and gets knocked down. Either that style is what comes natural to him and he just isn't very polished, or he is forcing that and making mistakes. I tend to think the latter.

You can either be really good with the shoulder roll like Mayweather and Toney, or you can be pretty bad like Mr. Jason Litzau.

Everybody brings up Gainer for the Marquez fight but they forget the Kelley fights so easily

He's young. Any young fighter can come back so no way is this any sort of a downfall or the last we'll hear from him. Hell, Bernard Hopkins lost his first fight and his first go at a major title. As much as I don't like him, calling himself the "white Sugar Ray", he's pretty good. He'll stick around.

Hernandez was national golden gloves champ, which means he's a pretty damn good fighter to begin with. And he walked right through everything Litzau threw, set him up, and KO'd his ass. It's not like he just got some freak lucky shot in, he dropped Litzau in the first, lost the middle rounds sure, but then feinted Litzau into throwing his left hook, so Hernandez could counter him with that great overhand right. Hernandez was the tougher fighter and the smarter fighter. There's a damn good chance he would KO Litzau the second time, faster.

He did KO Litzau, but he lost every round but the 1st and the 8th to do it. Unless he catches Litzau he isn't going to win a rematch.
