What has Floyd done recently? Beat slow stiffs like Gatti and Baldomir...and win against a mental case like Zab....with a few other no names here and there. Not saying Oscar's recent resume is fantastic...but losing against a legend like Hopkins (in a higher weight class), having an offnight/tough fight against a solid opponent like Sturm, and beating a brawler like Mayorga as a warm up fight....is a whole a lot better than Floyd's recent action.

Whens the last time PBF left a fighters face torn up?

    Anyone!!

Oh! by the way Gatti doesn't count... Come on keep it real his face looks beat up when he gets up in the morning...

Something that just makes me wonder is NONE of you have ever seen PBF fight at 154 you guys don't even know how the weight is gonna carry over.... Now this is me putting ODLH aside... I'm not talking about him I'm talkinf about PBF and the move up in weight 147 to 154 is a HUGE difference much respect to PBF for doing so but you guys are talking like 154 is PBFs div. when he has never fought there....

Im not saying that PBF does a lot of "running" or that he will do lots of that to stay away from Oscar rather than fight. (it is a fight isn't it)
But here's a video of him training for the fight!

I dont think so. Oscar is a technical fighter, he is not a slugger that PBF can school out. I think Oscar's skills are enough to give PBF a hard fight. But my bet is on PBF by hard UD. Gotta respect Oscar's boxing.

Cuz, Floyd beat Gatti and Baldomir when they was on a hot streak(Mentally they was unstoppable) and Floyd beat the fuk out of them, just like he will beat that Ex Ricky Martin room mate, cock sucking soap opera singing Dela Hoya.

    Your spot on there mate
There are no other two fighters on the Planet that can generate as much hype imo.
Also...Mick also has hit the nail on the head!!
PBF is in un chartered territory up at 154 and Oscar is gonna Crush him.
i just hope that Floyd comes to fight because this could have RE-MATCH written all over it
    Ya get me

You know Floyd moving up to 154 is the big 'X" factor in the outcome.... IMO you wont even see Floyd scratch that fight nite, I'm saying he comes in at around 150 or even under... Just so he dosent lose his overwhelming speed and reflex advantage over Oscar.

Yep Ocsar is the harder puncher and those Reyes gloves are designed to enhance that, now you putthose gloves on a deadly accurate fast puncher like FLoyd and Oscars face will show the effects, not saying he will look like Gatti but he'll know he was in a fight...

Id agree with that. What goes against Oscra though is the circumstances going into the fight . His win over Mayorgas will be a year ago by fight time. Inactivity wont help his timing at all against a slickster . He has a K.O to B-hop who like Floyd is a defensive genuis . Before that many thought Sturm beat him and Sturm is no Mayweather . b4 that ofcourse was the second Mosley defeat so when we look at the bigger picture , Floyd is the guy coming into this fight with momentum . Its all about current form and even though Floyds been beating low level fighters like Gatti , Mitchel , Brussles , Baldimor etc he's looked good doing it .

I dont think the pretty boy will be marked up at the end of this fight . Oscra will be but Floyds so quick and good at avoiding punches that Oscar will be frustrated by the 3rd . He holds the power to trouble Floyd as lesser men have hurt the pretty boy ( Corley , Judah ) He wont be able to finish the job though . I expect an impressive display from the pretty boy

Floyd is gonna rip Oscar to shreds. I can't wait. Even in that small ring, Floyd will outclass ODLH. PBF would be an extremely tough fight for a prime ODLH, much less today's ODLH. Oscar is gonna look lost in there, and Floyd Sr. won't have any impact on the outcome. Let's face it OSCAR IS NOW SLOW AS HELL!!! People neglect this fact, he's been fighting middleweights and very slow junior middles since Vargas, he's used to being the better boxer and a tad faster than the opponent. He's gonna be in for a rude awakening when he sees the truth. Oscar thinks that he can overpower Floyd but he will swinging at air just like the rest of these losers and he will look lost and confused. I think that main factor in this fight will be Floyd's body work, we all know that Oscar will gas out regardless of what Floyd does but coupled with all the missed punches and the body work, Oscar is gonna realize that he made a huge mistake. I still don't understand how people think Oscar is the favorite in this fight just because of the weight. If ODLH doesn't land something huge and knock Floyd out, how the hell is Oscar supposed to win Floyd hardly ever gets caught with HUGE shots because he's hardly ever flatfooted enough to take the full brunt of a big shot, he's always tucking his chin in, moving side to side, or moving back. Oscar just can't outbox Floyd, I don't care what fucking weight the fight is at. So IMO, the only chance ODLH has in this fight is a puncher's chance. Which is the only chance Floyd's last 37 opponents have had. Every single fight, people think Floyd is gonna all of sudden just get caught with a huge shot and get knocked out and it just doesn't happen. Sorry guys, I OD'ed on my PBF loyalty. So I'll end this rant and steal a line from Floyd,

The last 37 opponents have tried to beat him and they have failed, on May 5th, 2007, Oscar De La Hoya will try and he will fail.

    Question
How will Floyd react when he feels the weight of punches at 154?
    Answer
    No one knows,not even you!!

What you say is true about no one catching Floyd on the button before but it happens to all fighters and Oscar is a Warrior and will trade all day long
He'll catch him at some point then we'll see what Floyd is really about
Also i don't think PBF can hurt Oscar at all and i see Oscar just walking through him.

Hopefully after his loss and the bubble bursting it will open the door for a Hatton fight.
