i'm not putting my money on it, but i'm quite sure guzman is not pac's conqueror it's Valero. Pac's going to be beat by somebody younger, bigger and stronger. Merry Christmas Wacko
Merry Christmas to you to babe.

Here's the thing...I aint sold on Valero either. Sure he's got hellacious power...but he's as open as a loft door on a barn. Maybe if he learns to use his jab...or atleast remembers it & improves his defence...he'll do good...but even then...I don't believe that he'll conquer Pacquiao.

Honestly...the only person that I truly believe can do that is Juan Manuel Marquez.

    Love me some Marquez.

I'm not sold on him either, but I would rather see Pacquiao fight him than get unwarranted acclaim by fighting way over the hill Barrera again.
Good point. I'm curious to see how Marquez does against Barrera if they fight.

    I aint clammoring for a Barrera rematch...what's done is done...& IWO...that shit was DONE...in a big way.

DEFINITELY agree and I'm a big V Nom fan. I'd say first in line for pAC should be MAB,then JMM,then Guzman and then Valero.

The only reason I wonder is that he has poor balance and I think that good footwork would really cause him problems.
What could Mosley and Trinidad not do??

Pac nearly beat JMM who is a master boxer,he beat MAB the first time, and there aren't many boxers than MAB and he beat Morales the second time after Morales totally outboxed him the first time sooo.......

It would be a good fight but MAB and JMM first.
I imagine he means MOsley and Trinidad could not beat a great boxer who was naturally bigger than they were?? That was my take, thought I certainly wouldn't put Guzman anywhere near HOpkins or WRights class... He could however be another Vernon Forrest, and in that sense the comparison to Mosley and Pac could be dead on. Guzman definetly has skills, and he is bigger then Pacquiao, no doubt. It could be a big upset in the making if this fight happens, at least imo. Anyways, I think Guzman is the toughest fight out there for Manny, but I can understand that a rematch with MArquez is obviously one with a little more interest at this point... As far as Barerra though, I don't see how anyone can say that rematch should happen before Pac thinks about fighting Guzman or Valero.. Pac brutally beat Barerra years ago and everyone realizes he has improved greatly since then, I don't give Barerra much chance today.. Marquez definetly should get another shot at Pacman though, that fight needs to happen.. If for whatever reason it doesn't though, Guzman is a fight I hope PAc would take..
Why don't you think MAB should get a shot at Manny? Remember, regardless of whether anyone likes MAB or not, he was NOT himself that night,I think a rematch would be interesting but I agree,I see another Manny win...

Bro, how come MAB is not himself at their 1st fight? And yeah, I agree that Pac,MAB rematch must happen. But this time, it is Pac's prime.

I don't like Guzman much myself, but he is a very good fighter. Barrios didn't ever really hurt him even. And Barrios ain't no joke. Not to mention Guzman is bigger than Morales fo sure, he's practically a fukin 147 lber, no joke. Look at the bastard. And he can box, extremely well. And he's right in his prime.

EM was the bigger guy. look how thin he was at 130
during weigh ins, guzman doesnt look gaunt like EM
if its the frame youre talking about EM is bigger
but if its their actual weight during the fight - i dont know

Not to worry. I'm with you on this. All I really see is a good and stylish boxer that has difficulty knocking opponents at 130 lbs. Guzman still has to prove himself before taking on PACMAN. Maybe a fight with EM or JMM or MAB will help build his credibility. If he beats any of the three then he deserves to fight MP.

Bro,as most Manny fans know here,I respect the guy and always love watching him fight but when he beat MAB,there were numerous factors at play such as:

    Forest fires interrupting MAB's training
rumours that he had a metal plate in his head distracting him
He broke up with a ling time friend/manager and that had an emotional threat on him
and of course,he underestimated Manny,he thought it was a guy moving up and MAB thought he would beat him comfortably.

No doubt about it bro,Manny was awesome but MAB didn't fight back well,he did not box well. I am a big MAB fan and I KNEW as soon as he came to the ring that that was NOT the MAB I know,he looked devoid of any energy, any drive and that is why I'd like to see a rematch. Id still favour Manny in a rematch but I think MAB could make it much more difficult.

CC back bro and of course,I always try to be fair because even though I love EM/MAB/JMM,Manny has become may be the most exciting fighter on the planet for me,and I'll always give the guy credit,he's good for boxing and his attitude of taking on all comers must really be commended, especially as nowadays most boxers think they are businessmen rather than fighters.

Wha was your name before casualites?
