Agree. From the ones that are listed it's got to be Duva telling MTaylor to fight and win that last rd.

Agreed...then again...not many people seem to have much of an answer to Wright's technique lately do they?

Not that I'm taking up for Trinidad's camp or anything.

Unless plan B was to put the 'stinger' (barbed wire used by Moe Sizlak from The Simpsons ) round tito's glove, he didn't have a cats hell in chance in that fight. i think that was winky at his best, on that night it could have been de la hoya, mosley, hopkins or taylor and I think he'd have won.

I think Dan Birmingham followed the Trinidad method when Lacy fought Calzaghe. Tuff love I think they call it "fuck you jack, work it out for yourself"
When God said to the both of us "Which one of you wants to be Sugar Ray?" I guess I didnt raise my hand fast enough

I didn't vote for DLH's mistake because he admitted that he was tired, which means running against Trinidad wasn't the corner's fault.

Not nearly as historic but bringing it to a more recent context, Jose Hernandez's corner told him to move and jab to survive against Litzau. He completely disregarded that advice and threw heavy throughout the round like it would be his last (it would've been.) Whether it worked or not somebody was going to get knocked out quickly. Watch the Hernandez vs. Escalante fight: Jose can be worn down.

It's a hard choice on those pics....The worst advice I ever heard from a corner was in the Danny Williams/ Vitaly Klitschko fight....It was either between the 5th and 6th or 6th and 7th when his corner man told him...." Good Danny now you got him where you want him...You need to go in and go right after him..your going to win this one".....Your ass would have been fired for not throwing in the towel by the 6th...Heartless B%$#@^%$....

Worst bit of advice from trainer: Rahman's corner (Adrian Davis, i think) just before going out for the 4th round against Lewis in the rematch - "everytime he come at you just keep sticking your arms out like that (ramrod straight), he can't do nuthin, he can't get over the top of them"

lol that was a gooden CC

All fight long Rahman was sticking his arms out like a novice so Lewis simply came from the side and knocked him clean out

Papa Trinidad telling his son he was leading against Hopkins.

But you have to blame the boxers for listening sometimes too. Oscar has said it wasnt his fault he ran the last 3 round it was his fault because he decided to do it because he "assumed" things a fighter shouldnt.

of the 3, I'd say Duva.

Because he seems to "forget" what he said to Taylor as if HBO didn't have the tape.

What about Trinidad's dad telling him he was winning against Hopkins, and then telling him to get in closer against Winky so that he would be hit even more.

Probably Morales' father telling the corner to pour some water on his balls and he was doing fine in the last Barrera fight.
