Of course, that never actually happened as William Wallace was a cross-border bandit who never won a pitched battle against anyone. He did not sleep with the Queen and he make no stirring speeches of record.
In fact, on his first serious military engagement, he was annihilated in battle, captured and then hung, drawn and quartered in London.
Also, he never battled 'the Brits' - only the English and various groups of Irish.
The Welsh were not there - and bearing in mind it was Welsh archers that won Crecy and Agincourt, I doubt he would have been making many stupid speeched with 3 feet of ash sticking out of his face 
But still, apart form that, it was a good film. I'm surprised he didn't manage to fit in any Jew-bashing in the two hours it was on
If God wanted us to be vegetarians, why are animals made of meat ?
