I'll go for Foreman because I like his grilling machine,,,, no, I meant he did hit very hard, but P4P I would say Shavers.

I think Tyson's power was attached to his fist combination speed and Marciano had the "suzy q" but not one punch power and Dempsey was tough but for out and out one punch power it would have to be Foreman then a very close second is Shavers.

He is definitely a huge puncher, but for 1 punch power I would go with Shavers.
Thats more of a credit to Chuvalhos chin though. I dont believe he was ever down in his career

Agreed to an extent - but 'The Greatest' puncher of all time should be able to knock ANYBODY down

I was unsure between Mike and Rocky but for very different reasons. I sided with Mike becuase i had a lapse back to the days when he knocked out every fooker on the scene! Gotta love it

Way i see it is.. George was not a one hit puncher... But bloody hard..
Rocky might have been better puncher in regards to one hit..But was often dominated for almost an entire fight in his biggest fights before knocking them out..So either rocky is truely a one hit puncher..Or they puffed out beating his ass and he had too much heart for them and knocked em out late...
Tyson certainly acceptable..Good technique certainly.. i wouldnt say later years count cos he slipped away from prime far too early.. But at prime tyson is a serious consideration..
Havnt seen enough of shavers to really judge him..But enough seen and read to know he was a seriously bad bad man.

P4P I'd say Tyson because he wasnt reliant on size but on sheer speed and power and he had awesomme 1 punch kayos to prove it.

Preme its funny you should say that, when in conversation with lots of American sparring partners who had sparred with Tyson Holmes Foreman and the likes when I asked them who the hardest hitter was to a man they all said Bruno, so its not a silly as it might sound

Agreed to an extent - but 'The Greatest' puncher of all time should be able to knock ANYBODY down
not sure theres ever been a fighter thats knocked down all of his opponents
but I don't think theres ever been a fighter that would drop Chuvalo, a good few may stop
him but none would drop him

Again agreed to an extent - but what I mean is that Foreman was able to hit Chuvalho on the chin for the best part of a whole round and didn't drop him. It's not the fact that he didn't knock out EVERY opponent, it's the fact that he managed to hit this one bang on the button a dozen times and not drop him. That said would any of the others have dropped Chuvalho

I don't think so. Chuvalo fought EVERYONE and he was never down. One tough sumbitch.

Maybe, but there has never been anyone who could drop or KO Chuvalo with ONE clean punch. You had to practically kill him to stop him. Chuvalo had one of, if not THE, greatest chins of all time.

I voted for Shavers, but I don't think he could have dropped, or even stopped Chuvalo.

surprised u dont have frazier on there as a choice but to tell u the truth i cant call it beacause they all had such diffrent styles its hard to tell ... for example foreman may have hit harder then tyson but the way tyson leans with hes punches plus the speed creates a bigger impact so i cant say
