Wow you guys are totally misunderstanding me... Pacquaio is skilled, fast, strong, etc, etc. But he isn't as good as some of the guys out there. IMO not even close. I think proof of how far MOrrales fell was against Zahir Raheem who is a good boxer, but not Hall of Famer anywhere near the prime of their career would have lost to him as decisively as Morrales did. Barrera-Pacquaio was a great fight, but I think younger Barrera would have won because he had a little better defense, and had a better chin. Pacquaio is a exciting, and probably the most fighter to watch in the world right now, but when I say hype I mean he shouldn't be #2 p4p, and people considering him as good as Mayweather is crap. The reason why I say Mayweather's competition was a little better is because Zab came in more focused, and in better shape(the only time he really had very defined abs) than we've ever seen him. He is the hardest opponent for Mayweather because 1. He's southpaw 2. He's the only guy who comes close to Mayweather in speed or skill at fighting a slow fight when he's thinking. 3. With his speed comes alot of power which combined with the speed makes him a dangerous fighter when he does come in focused. Why IMO Baldomir was a harder opponent for Mayweather than Morrales was for Pacquaio. 1. He naturally way bigger than Mayweather, and outweighs him by almost 40 pounds at his walking around weight. 2. Mayweather couldn't hurt him. 3. Baldomir didn't give up when he realized he was overmatched, and he still threw kept comming, and unlike Morrales he was comming off to big wins while MOrrales morale must have been down in the dumbs after losing two fights in a row.
All I am saying is thinking about Pacquaio in the ring with mayweather (who is close to Pacquaio's size because if you look at him, he only moved up from super feather weight to get new challenges, and when he was the age Pacquaio was when he started his career he was the fighting in the olympics at 11

. THis is not just with Mayweather, but how would Pacquaio beat Winky who he likely couldn't hurt, and who's jab dominates orthodox fighters let alone southpaws. I think Pacquaio beats Hopkins, Barrera, any heavyweight, and Taylor p4p, but I don't see him being better p4p than Calzaghe, and what Calzaghe did beating an old Eubanks who until then didn't necessarily look young.
