Honestly...I say that this'll be Valuev's hardest match to date...tuffer than Ruiz or Donald was for him.

I still think that he'll pull of the win because once McCline get's clocked flush one good time...he'll shell up like usual.

....let's remember that McCline did bad things to Michael Grant and Shannon Briggs....Wlad was the only fighter he really shelled up against....maybe Byrd but still

Great point. McCline may surprise once again, however unlikely that may seem.

I expwect this to be a poor spectacle between two immobile giants , setting a slow pace and little quality action throughout .

Mcline has turned out to be a big disapointment dispite wins over Briggs and Grant . Stylistically this fight should suit him more than Byrd but teh last Jameel met a big fighter ( Evlad ) he caved in mentally and crumbled . Here he meets a bigger man . If his heart is in it he can make it a good fight but Valuev has the momentum. He will force the fight, be the boss and take the rounds . Valuev UD

I think McCline is a bum. But Valuev is a bigger bum. I say Valuev gets exposed as the Don King circus freak he is by late round stoppage or lopsided decision. And yes, the fact that we would have Briggs and McCline as the two American belt holders does make me sick.

I think that if McCline's in good shape and up for this he could pull off an upset. Valuev is a very very limited fighter who relies on his sheer size. Fighting another relatively big man like McCline, who has solid boxing skills and reasonably quick hands for a big lad, he could find himself in trouble. I don't think McCline could knock out Valuev, but I think he could out-work vauev, beat him to the punch, make him look slow and shit. Its gonna take something massive to knock out Valuev but I think he could be outboxed by an experienced pro like McCline.

Having said that I do remember seeing McCline shit himself against Wlad Klitschko and they dont come more intimidating than the giant. if McCline comes to fight I think he could pull it off. Anyone see how much McCline weighed in at? If he's around 265lbs he's in shape.

And seeing as were on the record, I reckon Wlad beats Valuev no problems and Sam Peter might be able to anyone. I don't think much of Valuev.

Valuev is so easy to hit that I wouldn't be that surprised, if McCline scores a ko/tko...considering
that he is the "biggest" puncher Valuev faced so far...
But I will go with a SD or UD for Valuev...

Either way... if Valuev wins the haters will say he is still a bum and did prove nothing and
if he loses they will say "didn't I tell you he was a bum"...

That's pretty sad right there Johnny....it's the truth but God is it ever sad.....I mean think about it 40+ fights and JAMEEL "38 wins 23 KO's" McCline is his BIGGEST power punching foe?

Valuev is a big fat ugly BUM the sooner everyone realizes it the better...the faster we're done with this bullshit!

I don't think McCline's win over Grant means anything.
First punch he threw in the fight ,average left jab/hook hit Grant.
Grant came out "bone dry" no sweat or heat at all. Got hit cold and was flashed down. on the way down he twisted (broke?) his ankle.
what does that say about Teddy Atlas to have his fighter come out ice cold?
It was a best a fluke, and proves nothing about McCline.

Don't agree on a whole hell of a lot but you're on the same page as me with Valuev. It annoys me just the mention of his name.

Valuev has good stamina & doesnt waste alot of energy. I dont know why Valuev is taking so much S*** for fighting McCline. Its one of his toughest opponents so far. I think it will be a good measuring stick to see how he looks etc. If McCline outboxes him etc. If Valuev can stop McCline that would be impressive.
Valuev has a belt and when you have a belt you need to be facing top tier opposition. Barret and Beck were ridiculous. He's not saving much face with McCline.
But look at Maskaev , Beck & Barrett are better than Okhello. Nobody complains about Maskaev.

Maskaev KO'd a title holder to get his title....AND that's ONE fight after winning the title he had to wait because of the Toney-Peter rematch and another point is that he fought in Moscow which would mean some fighters probably turned him down because of where the fight was being held.

Oleg was also wanting to fight Wladimir Klitschko unlike Nicolay "Big Fraud" Valuev
We will see if Maskaev fights Klitschko or Peter next. I think he should fight Peter right away. But I guarentee that will never happen.

There are two reasons for that.

    1. Maskaev will loose his next fight who ever he faces.... Unless its Rahman.
    2. Even if he were to win, the 49-0 record set by Rocky Marciano 50+ years ago would not be in any jepordy.
You have alot more confidence in Rahman than me. He is an underachiever & will struggle with any top 10 heavyweight.
