Really saddo? I thought it was pretty tedious stuff for the first eight rounds, and Morua should not have been in that ring really, except as a warm up for another fight.

Sorry for my scheduling mistakes, but it's Lenny Daws v Barry Morrison next. Witter looked alright in my view, but a little too cautious against someone out of his league for me.

Well, they're talking up Witter against diego Corrales as his next bout. Now that will show where Witter stands on the world stage, and he'll need a better performance then. He put down his rustiness due to a lack of sparring partners, so I guess I'll forgive him that one, but I truly hope he will get a true attackign fighter on is level next time out, to reallytest him.

Witters got the chin to keep him in fights and the punch to end them, I wish he would go for it more often. Its ok playing cat and mouse with the lower tier fighters but the top boys woint entertain it. He also looks far far more dnagerous as an orthodox fighter IMO. Switching for switchings sake most of the time.
When God said to the both of us "Which one of you wants to be Sugar Ray?" I guess I didnt raise my hand fast enough

I gotta agree with you onthe switching just for the sake of it issue. He got caught once square on while he was doing that tonight, and someone with a bit more meat in his gloves would have troubled him at that stage.

OK, second fight, and Morrison getting a decent welcome into the ring, he may have sold a couple of tickets! Considering that Lenny Daws is the London boy, I'm a little surprised Daws' welcome is not at all psitive. He's got a few whistles from the crowd, so they cranked up the dance music. Daws gets the height and reach advantage. It's sponsored by Lifestyle condoms. Am I the only one who finds this fact in a sport where lots of men hug each other for much of the fight amusing? Ah, only me then.

    Round 1:

Exchange of jabs early on. Daws the more accurate, then catches Morrison with a couple of hooks. Morrison returns with a hook of his own. Daws chants appearing in the crowd now, he has some fans here after all. Morrison looking the bstronger and more muscular of the fighters. Nice flurry of short hooks from Daws. Morrison catches Daws with a nice hook, and Daws clinches.
Theyre both working hard, but that fine shot edges it for Morrison IMO.
    10-9 Morrison

    Round 2:

Nice left hook again from Morrison. He's pushing better. Nice flurry of pitter-patter straghts from Daws. Straight left from Morrison. A nice big long hug. Reasonable uppercut from Morrison. Nice left hook rocks Daws a little. Straights from Morrison. Daws leans into a clinch, and pushes Morrison back onto the ropes.

    Another Morrison round 20-18.

    Round 3:

Good combo of jabs and straights from Daws. Morrison's shots carry the more weight behind them. Nice straight left from Morrison. Couple of hooks from Daws....he's improving a little now. Morrison throws a big right, an upprcut and a left annd Daws moves into a clinch/wrestle. Nice body hook from Morrison. ANother shot to the head. Daws looks tired at the moment. Another good right from Morrison, but Daws throws a few shotrt hooks in the clinch.

    Morrison again.

    Round 4:

Nice jab by Morrison. Daws needs to step this up badly. Morrison seems the quicker early on. A flurry of straights and the last of the four moves through the Morrison guard. Body shot from Morrison. Another groping hug. Short left from Daws knocks the head back. Lots of swinging little contact from Daws at the moment, except in the clinch. Morrison picks off three nice hooks to the body, and an uppercut. Uppercut from Morrison. Late flurry from Daws, the hook knocking Morrison's head a little.

Enough work from Daws to tie this round, but Morrison still the more venomous puncher.

Round 5: Daws wioth a few short hooks, but Morrison returns with some hard hurtful shots to the body, and up top. The cross on Morrisons shorts make him look a little like he wet himself. Daws caught on the way in, but then a clinch and Morrison leans on. Good pair of jabs from Daws, Morrison comes in and bangs the body again. An awful lot of clinching here again. Nice overhand left from Daws. Pair of uppercuts on the inside from Morrison. I shoulda whacked a few quid on Morrison. Daws ends with a jab and an uppercut.

Morrison takes this one again for me.

    Round 6:
Morrison looking focused, throwing harder body shots and some decent shots upstairs. Daws throws some hooks and jabs, but Morrison seems unfazed by everything from Daws so far. Another good flurry of hooks from Morrison, as Saddo says its a proper scrap. Daws with some short straights, and Morrison walks on with more punches. Daws throws some shots to the body, and a flurry connects too. Morrison gets caught with a couple of shots through the Morrison guard.

Daws is stepping it up, but Morrison still running this bout.
    60-55 for my money.

What you think about his fight with Judah? You think it was to soon for him?
