Damn. I'm a bit of an Escalante fan. He had a REALLY good fight versus Jorge Rivera early last year and from LG's accounts it was a good fight. Didn't Green - Codrington happen in January? Anyways, REALLY wish I had Telefutura. Great fights there.

YEAH Escalante is a good fighter no matter what! He has always foutht very good and exiting fights!! In the past fight something happened he did't looked good since the beginning and the corner didn't help either!!!!! bu I am still one of Escalante's fans and I would be wainting for his next fight I know he is going to be ready for the next one!!! ohh and if you are interested checkout www.tescalante.com I heard you can send your opinions and they will put them on the website. ?

I just saw it on youtube. Perfect punch. It was definitely a one in a million shot where everything was in the right place. Escalante had his chin out to throw his and Pastrana hid the straight right behind a flash-jab.

I bet in a rematch Escalante stomps all over Pastrana (although he did leave his chin out for a monster of an uppercut).

This KO and the one of the Featherweight 'prospect' who got KO'd on HBO (Litzau) are my favorite of the year--so far. Because he fell on his face, I think this one was better.
