Most Cowardly Act Ever Witnessed in Boxing

From that list, no question it was James Butler's cheap shot.
Because it wasn't an act in the heat of the moment. It was well after the fight and after the cards were read.

I'd also add to the list of most cowardly acts,
- Panama Lewis stripping the padding off his fighter's gloves.
- I don't remember the names but they showed a clip during a FNF or something where one of the fighters raised his hand to touch gloves at the start of the fight but the other guy smacked him with a sucker punch and instantly knocked him out. I know it's not against the rules and you should protect yourself at all times, but that was the most gawdamn cowardly act of unsportsmanship.
- Golota constant nad attacks.

That was Gabriel Krizan vs. Angel Torres. Gabriel Krizan has never fully recovered from that punch. I think your assessment is correct in calling it cowardly. Because he obviously didn't think he could beat him when his guard was up so he punched him when his guard was down. He knew that Gabriel was looking to touch gloves to start the match and he hit him anyway. While not illegal it is still repulsive to me that an act of sportsmanship cost Gabriel Krizan so much.

Who has hatton dodged? His very first step up was Tszyu.. He then fought his next three fights as world title bouts.. Do you have any idea of the sort of skill level that fighters like urango and collazo even have?
These men are better then you can ever imagine.. Nevermind theyr records or how they have performed in the past.. If you had any of these men directly in front of you doing what they do.. You would take it all back...

Also i agree tyson's ear biting is not as bad as made out when you consider the headbutts...

And i beleive the sucker punch is obviously the worst...

He was 7-3 at the time. He was only 7-4 after the loss to Angel Torres. But that is neither here nor there because the real question is if he wasn't afraid of him then why would he have hit him when he was obviously trying to touch gloves. I have seen tons of boxing matches where an opponent comes to the center of the ring to touch gloves after the bell rings for the first round and except for this occasion I have never seen anyone take advantage of that moment. It wasn't an illegal shot but it was a cheap shot. Besides in this era of corrupt boxing judges and shady decisions records rarely tell the true story.
