I'm a huge Gatti fan and I think it's cool of you to care so much for his health, but I
have to disagree with those of you,who say he should retire...I don't think that one
more fight(after so many wars) will be any difference to Gatti...And it will be(most,
most probably) his last fight, since he considered(for the first time...) retiring after
    losing to Baldomir...
If this fight against Corrales really happens, then it will be like a big leaving present
from Gatti to boxing(and me )...
So I just wanne say...:"Do it on more time Gatti...!!!...And thanks alot...."
    ...

I turned out a fool for picking Gatti over Baldomir. What would I be if I picked him to beat Carrales?

When your face starts to melt of your skull from absorbing too many power shots it's time to retire.

to be fair gatti didn't look that bad against baldomir. there was glimmers of the old gatti and he did have some success. but baldomir was just to big for him and the shots bounced off him

I honestly don't see Gatti fighting a world class opponent and winning anymore....His body is tired and should get out while he is ahead....he will be remember as a warrior...but if he keeps fighting he will be known as 1 time lucky fighter that couldn't beat the top fighters of his day...
It feels good to be back home.

    # 228 Well Baldimer is pretty solid fighter. Corrales has weak chin. if Gatti comes in with his hand in check . he has a very good chance at beating Corrales. Gatti was having big problems with the hands his last few fights. Arturo is the kind of fighter that if he can't commend that respect with his punch because of injury, he will just get knocked out himself Gatti don't have the footwork or the youth to be able to win otherwise.
