Do you reckon burns has the power to stop Johanesson or even hurt him? I think Johanesson walks through everything Burns throws and wears him down. Carl can be outboxed though so a points win for Burns wouldn't be a big shock. Such a close fight to call. I can't wait.

I dont see Burns having enough power to get the knockout, he could take it by decision but im still backing Johanneson to get the stoppage. Got great odds at Ladbrokes too 8/1 in rounds 7-9 and 14/1 in rounds 10-12, great value and ive had a few quid on both

I see Burns going much the same way as Fehintola last time out. Include that with the fact that his confidence took a big hit v Alex Arthur I imagine he will be nervous coming into this and Johanneson is, as one person described, "nails".

I'll do a RBR Boxing_G, I was meant to go to Bristol to cover the Ovill McKenzie v Dean Francis fight, but we had bout 4/5 inches of snow, and my car seems to be floating on a white bed with no wheels.

Unlucky! Still a good bet though with the three knockdowns coming in the rounds you had

Excellent fight...even though a bit one-sided. I thought Johanneson wasn't far off Arthurs level before this fight and this just firmed up my view.

Not that Burns should be used as yardstick (he's to good for that) but i'd like to see him in with Mitchell now.

It was an absolute belter of a fight for sure. Johnansson won nearly every round but it was always in the back of the mind that he would tire late on so the fight remained intriguing right up to the final bell.

I really Johannson, he outHattoned Hatton last night with a non stop relentless attack only resorting to clinch's in the final round.

Much credit to Ricky Burns as well, he's a game kid who hung in there despite chasing a lost cause. I gave him rounds 8, 11 and 12 which considering how far behind he was and the battering he took was really to his credit.

Got to respect Burns, only 23 and already he's fought 3 of the best British fighters around that weight.

I'd like to see either in with Michael Hunter if he moves up. Still not entirely sold on Johansson, I think he will get found out at the highest level, but you can't help but like the guy, nonstop effort.

Thanks for the big up Mick, but I am so glad that I did as I was half tempted to get an early night, but it was an absolutely fantastic fight, and if Johanneson keeps putting in these types of performances, he will become a star, despite the fact he's a very quiet lad by nature and doesn't like to trash talk the opposition. I wish I'd recorded it, as it was a true example of how exciting boxing can be!
