Which means that Witter will only get bigger and those two guys hate each other. As long as Ricky holds a belt at 140 then he's screwing Witter, but once Witter becomes the unified champ of the division, Witter's callouts of Hatton will actually mean something. Witter can start making some big fights and bigger money, and Ricky doesn't want that because he hates Witter. Ricky needs to realize that when you're 43-0 or whatever he is, you shouldn't be worried about trinkets anymore, now you should be worried about making the biggest fights possible in terms of P4P. But to be honest, I really don't see why Hatton hasn't faced Witter yet, is it really about Hatton not wanting to give Junior his biggest payday, or could it be that Hatton is scared?
Witter may be down the line. Hatton has bigger fish to fry for now. No need to be shooting guns too quickly!
The only names coming out of Hatton's mouth right now should be Witter, Mayweather, and Cotto, oh yeah, and Castillo. Seriously, Ricky needs to step up his competition a bit, he's been eating off of that Tszyu win for like two years now, great win, it's time to move on to bigger and better things. I still don't understand why Hatton isn't going mad for the Mayweather fight. Mayweather will fight in May, Hatton fights in June. Megafight in the late fall 2007. Hatton better stop being so tenative because I feel like this is our last chance to see the PBF - Hatton fight, if it's not made for the fall, Mayweather will fight Mosley, then Spinks, and then retire for real.

I really believe Hatton is toast, he has not come on at all since the Tszyu fight and maybe that fight took a lot more out of him than first thought. The big money is at Welter and he looked very sluggish against Collazo who was out of his league against Mosley. Mayweather will never fight Hatton at 140 and i think Cotto would stop him. I think Ricky will stay at 140 and fight the chumps down there.
Any move to 147 against any of the elite would be disastrous for Hatton.
Wouldn't surprise me at all if N'dou beats him.

Can't we just wait and see what actually happens in the future before slating the guy again? He is fighting Castillo after all, and the speculation about that fight being replaced with one against N'Dou was just that, speculation. Alot of people were slating Hatton for something he hadn't even done. Maybe after the Castillo fight we can talk about some of the points you're making, but really, is Castillo better than Witter? That's a no brainer for me. Is Hatton fighting the best left in his division? Yes. Is a Witter fight ever going to be a big money fight? Unlikely

So far, he hasn't really done anything wrong in that respect. If he does beat Castillo, then he will move up a division, unless the Castillo fight is spectacular and very tight, in which case we may see a rematch. After Castillo there is only Witter left, and as I have said, I don't see that happening. The challenges and the money will be in the 147 division. Say what you want about Hatton, but he is not a coward and he is confident.

Oh, and to talk about Cotto as the next coming after one fight against mediocre opposition is lunacy. He's hardly proven to say the least. But a spectacular win is all that counts right.

Whom ever wins wether it's Hatton or JLC.... IMO the winner should face N'dou... and then the winner of that fight vs. either D-Hop or Holt....

I hope witter unifies the belts and then gets to call the shots because Ricky's running scared he's had so long to prove otherwise but chose to fight urango's and struggle with them instead.
