Either one of Klits gets KO'd by Peter real soon. But I doubt that Vitali makes it past Maskeav. :P

Sad to say it but no!! He is not the champion we all have been looking for. Sad because nowadays what would definitely be, B or even C class fighters in the past are potential candidates to be "The Heavyweight Champion". Don't get me wrong with the fighters we have today he will most definitely be roaming around with the "alphabet title holders" at the top but i don't see anyone right now taking the klitschkos' out from the top. No Undisputed Heavyweight Champion for us maybe even for a while.

As much as I like Samuel Peter as a person...
he couldn't get by Wlad Klitschko who EVERONE with 1/2 a brain knows can't go outside when it's snowing for fear that a snowflake might brush against his chin
and KNOCK HIM THE F#CK OUT..............AGAIN!
Even if he somehow could get a rematch against Wlad (won't happen..wlad won't rematch guys who beat him NEVER mind guys he beat)
or a match against Vitali (not gunna happen... Vitali is strictly a selfish glory seeker only interested in "cherry picking" a weak HW to get a belt)
eventually he waould have to face up against
    "THE BEAST FROM THE EAST"
    NICOLAI VALUEV
and would get destroyed and maybe hurt permanantly or even killed..its a scarey thought really...
Imagine him against Valuev! Ruiz is 6' 2 1/2" much taller than Peter.

Here's how Ruiz looked!!! Imagine poor short pudgy Peter.

Just out of interest do you write out each post individually or copy and paste from a template?

Also the size difference, which is as you point out monumental only serves to emphasise how bad Valuev must be, as even the Germans who specialize in highway robbery booed and jeered that result.

They booed the fact that Ruiz ruined yet another fight and that Valuev allowed him to live. Therefore the world may have to suffer through another John Ruiz Hugfest

Perhaps Valuev was full. I'm sure I heard that a couple of gypsey's were caught and thrown into his cave the night before.

I knew that the Klitschkos are from the Ukraine, but till now I didn't know that they were GYPSIES!

    Ukrainian Gypsies
Gypsies were known to be sinister thieves who travelled around Europe stealing belongings from anyone who crossed their paths.
(such as Samuel Peter's Title shot)
Every Country in Eastern Europe was known to have Gypsies. They are considered a major part of the Ukrainian culture, and are represtented by many Ukrainian dance groups. Gypsy dances are known for the intricate clapping combinations tapped out by the male dancers in which slapping anything such as the head or the chest is used to make a sound.
    (that explains the wimpy punches!)

Peter is the second best heavyweight in the world right now, and he is still improving. Is he the guy "we've all been waiting for?"
    No.

Wlad is the best heavyweight in the world right, and he is still improving. Is he the guy "we've all been waiting for?"
    No.

My advice to everyone who's waiting for the next great heavyweight....
Watch the welterweights and featherweights instead.

WLAD IS THE MAN? ................ WHAT??
    What about
    Corrie Sanders
    Lamont Brewster
    and even
    Ross Purity?
surely they MUST be considered the cream of the HW elite crop?

Oh I think I get it! you must have confused Wladimir Klitschkos
47 wins and THREE MASSIVE DEVASTATING KO LOSS record

With Nicolai Valuevs 47 Fight UNDEFEATED RECORD.....
no worry..it was an honest mistake I'm sure!

You seem to be quite the Valuev fan. Do you have a backhair fetish?
Personally, I think either Wlad or Peter beats the snot out of Valuev.

What about those guys? You sure don't make very good points do you? What heavyweight of the past hasn't been beaten at least a couple times? They learn from their defeats that is why they improve!Valuev hasn't faced the kind of competition like Wladimir so don't even compare them.

No he's just another average heavyweight. the division sucks and the champions are bums.
He's not average - average doesn't outpoint James Toney or go 12 rounds with Wladdy. He'll definitely have a title by the end of the year - for Fuks sake, Briggs and Maskaev hold titles.
    Slightly above average...
And the only reason i give him that is because... The average is crap.... Cmon the days that Valuev and Briggs are belt holders, and what are we supposed to compare peter to?
If we compare him to anything in the era's before him. he will = Sh!t on a stick

He has a devastating punch. If he lands it.
I've yet to see anything special from him that would make me say "OMG, he's the one"
Devastating punch? He couldnt keep china chin Klitchko on the canvass. And as for beating Toney. Toney is a fat lazy middleweight. who when he was middleweight champion admitted he could make light middleweight. At heavyweight Toney beat holyfield (old well past his best) Ruiz (the worst heavyweight champion ever) So Peter beating toney is no great acheivement.

This is boxing monthlys top 10

    1. Wlad Klitschko
    2. Oleg Maskaev
    3.Sam Peter
    4. Nikolay Valuev
    5 . Shannon Briggs
    6. Rusian Chagaev
    7 . James Toney
    8. Hasim Rahman
    9. Sergie Lyakovich
    10 . John Ruiz

In all the years ive followed boxing , ive never known a more pathetic top ten . Infact if I was too imagine this list 10 years ago , I would have thought it must be a joke . We need someone to clear up just as a young Tyson cleaned up another poor era. Peter I guess is the only chance . Wvlad I have to say is the best out there now and if Vitali comes back he'll be a big time player . Along withPeter that makes the top 3 IMO. I'd personally love to see Evander win a title whilst the division is so terrible but I think thats wishful thinking ,
