Ali fought Frazier, Foreman, Liston, Patterson, Norton and sought them all out

Leonard fought Hearns, Hagler, Duran, Benitez and sought them out

Robinson fought everyone!!!...Same for Joe Louis

Oscar DLH has always sought out the best even if he lost he sought them out

Roy Jones had limited comp in his division but still had some great fights and made it a point to fight at HW to prove something

Hearns fought Leonard, Cuevas, Hagler, Leonard

Baldomir,,Corrales,,Gatti,,Judah and Hernandez are not qualified to make PBF a man in the league of those men I mentioned...

Like I said it's not that Floyd doesn't have the skills it is just he rather go for the gain at the least expense then try to fool us into thinking he has done otherwise...

Leonard,,Hearns,,Duran,,Arguello,,Pryor,,Robinson all would have given Floyd a beating...PBF would have held his own and even won a portion of the fight against any of them but come gut check time these legends would have showed him what P4P greatness was all about...I don't care who agrees

And untill Floyd shows that he has the internal heart to go at it like these men did time and again I will not change my mind
Yeah Baldi was more of a danger to him than Toni... bullshit he was! I agree baldi was regarded as the liner WW champ, the WBC holder, but fuck off was he more of a danger than anyone else to floyd

This is BOXING not toughman competitions,

no one out there today can box better than Mayweather. Im just giving him his overdue props...because I know noone else wants to.If he wants to be considered all time p4p he has to put a few more notches on his belt...i.e. Mosely and Hatton. Then we can start to talk about him as p4p best all time.
YES this IS boxing not a f#cking track meet!

IF PBF fights, punishes or KO's Oscar somehow,ANYWAY, great! . If he contacts Oscars face with his gloves and does MAJOR damage or KO's him GREAT! IF he runs and pitty pats I HATE HIM!
If Oscar brings it to him I hope he catches him and KO's his ass!

Bottom Line I'm for whoever BRINGS THE PAIN and leave his running shoes at home!

CC, landmine. Add me to the list of fans who want to see a fight, not a chess match. I am totally rooting for PBF, but will be pissed if he starts playing "patty cake" with Oscar.

"He has proven time and again that he will go out of his way to fight the most dangerous opponent out there..." sometimes he does, but not always don't bring gatti into it coz what happend at 140 isnt the point, fighting mitchel at 147 wasnt the danger fight either - don't do ur usual crap and try change what was put in front of you...

That wasn't "i hate floyd mayweather" post either, i don't blame him for taking an easy fight at his first 147 fight, knowing the type of guy floyd is i fully expected him to take on baldi, he was the liner WW champ, the WBC champ, a belt that floyd onlyseems interested in really fighting for and fair play to him - i agree 100% on him in the both fights, but when you make out he goes out of his way to fight the danger fights, well that crap.

I want Floyd to dominate him. Floyd is THE best fighter in the world today, and with that kind of recognition comes a ton of haters. I want Floyd to embarrass ODLH and Hatton, just to spite those haters.

Floyd goes on the defensive, and because hes soo fast he makes his opponent look silly you say hes running...he has gone toe to toe with many fighters, you have to go with your strengths and his strength is quickness.Landmine950 I know your not used to seeing real boxing since your a Valuev fan but watch close you may learn something.

Remember that a fight is scored by

    1) clean EFFECTIVE punching ie punches that DO DAMAGE
    2) effective AGGRESSIVNESS ie coming forward and throwing!

THEN defense and ring generalship and as you always hear with a strong emphasis on clean effective punching!

I don't care if he goes toe to toe or runs backwards or stands on his f#ckin head! KO oscar or beat him to a bloody pulp ANY way he can and
HE'S THE MAN! I don't care HOW he does it!!!
run away and back up for 12 rounds and leave the ring with his opponent looking like he stepped out of the beauty parlor and he's a
    CHICKEN SH!T LOSER
regardless of what the scorecards say.. thats how I feel.

I want Floyd to win because it's been a long time that we've had a legendary boxer and I'd like to claim one for my generation. People in the 1960's and 1970's have Ali, people in the 1980's have Leonard, Hagler, Duran, people in the 1990s have Roy Jones and Julio Cesar Chavez, even though a lot of people don't like him, I'd like to have my own for this new millenium, Floyd Mayweather Jr.
