This is how we should remember Naz
Are you seriously suggesting we should give Naz a break because he was a great boxer? He effectively crippled a guy AND left the scene! Let's see you be so forgiving after someone does it to you...Originally Posted by tysonbruno
Oops
I couldn't give a rats arse what he did for British Boxing! You mention the things he did as though it was just something that happens. The bloke he hit was some poor Joe just minding his own business, and he had every bone in his body broken and he and his family's lives ruined all because Naz wanted to act flash in his new toy. Then he didn't even have the decency to see if the guy was OK, he just ran off like a coward. Sure I blame the courts for letting him off so easily and that isn't his fault (even though he probably had pretty decent brief) but the whole situation was his fault.Originally Posted by tysonbruno
This isn't some minor incident that just happened and should be forgotten, it wasn't a "mistake" because he didn't know better. He is a twat who thinks that rules don't apply to him and even worse, his first thoughts when it happened was how he was going to save his own skin.
I'm pretty sure that he doesn't feel remorse for what happened, only the problems that it has caused him. I'm a doctor and in A&E I see too many people who don't think/ care about what they do, and invariably it is some innocent person who pays the price.
Naz used to be one of my favourite boxers, but now I just look down on him
Most people look down on him he's only 5ft 3 inchOriginally Posted by sanj16

Not to play devils advocate...but looking at both wrecks do you think that hamed was even the least bit not coherant?Originally Posted by althetruthhindley
I was going to suggest that Hamed join the Formula One racing circuit, but I'm afraid he'd weigh down the car too much.
Good post Sanj.
I noticed the bit were you say you look down on him now (despite his fame & achievments).
An astute comment about a coward.
I'm not going to bang on about Naz doing wrong, no, my thoughts are with the poor fella who physically is in pain every day of his life.
My mother was crippled in an accident and has annual operations on her bones & muscles - you only get one body in this life and once it's gone, it's gone.
Naz, albeit a blob, still has his health & wealth - something the other has none of.
MAN HE IS FAT!!!!!....Hard to believe looking at those pics he was once one of the slickest fighters in the game??
Hidden Content IN CASE THEY ALL FORGOT WHAT REAL HEAVYWEIGHT POWER WAS!!!
Naz was an overrated cocky Wanker who is a coward. Got exposed at the highest level by Barrera and then ran from boxing rather than demand a rematch. Then trying to be flash in his car could have killed someone and he ran off... again like a coward. My best memory of Naz was him giving the mouth and all the pro muslim crap before the Barrera fight only to have the snot beaten out of him by a true legend.
Naz was already at the highest level he had been featherweight number1 for 3 to 4 year he had won The WBO title defended it 15 times he also won the IBF,WBC and defeated Wifredo Vasquez who was the WBA champ but had to give it up to fight Naz.So in theory he won all the 4 major world titles im not going to go on But he defended his WBO title 15 times something Ricky Hatton does'nt do Ricky wins a title the easy route then gives it up He had one big fight against OLD Kostya but you all love him Naz fought loads of good namesOriginally Posted by Hughesd

TysonBruno - Some good pics there of Nas in his prime . He had some good moments and it brings back memorys of him at his best
Tom Johnson was Nas' big test and he didnt mess about in that 1 . I do think he should have taken a count at the end of teh third cuz he touched down . I liked Johnson and wanted him to skool nas but it was the changing of an era .
Billy Hardy wasnt confident going in and was willing to fall from the 1st big shot . In hindsight a pointless fight but tha the time Billy was a respected European champ who beat Robinson .
Vasquez I feel had his momentum broken when the ropes went . He was begining to find his distance and catch Nas with eye catching shots . Then when the break came it helped Nas alot and he came out and stopped Vasquez . He looked a little gunshy after the Kelley fight but he got the job done in good style in the end .
The Kelley fight was amazing .He rocked the garden that night . Nuff respect to that . They agreed to have a war at the weigh in but Kelley went on the counter and had sucess for 3 rounds until he got too assertive . In the second when Nas was touching down and having his head almost knocked off bythat right hook , I was thinking this is it for Nas but it was a case of a younger puncher beating an older puncher . Kelley deviated from his plan and couldnt take Nas' shots . Nas could take his though .
CC back Game i know he made a war out of the Kelley fight but after Naz had fought him it took Morales 7 to do him and 6 year later after Naz fought him it took Barrera 4 im not taking anything away from Barrera he did a great jod but at the same time i can't help thinking Naz helped with his own downfall he had a poor training camp their was the glove thing that delayed the fight by nearly an hour and he said they still did'nt feel right plus apart from that he did'nt have no gameplan he just wanted the ko he did'nt have no plan B Manny steward was'nt any good for him he neede IngleOriginally Posted by GAME
