How many world boxing champs retired never having lost a pro bout?

IMO, theres only 2 fighters to have retired as Champions.

I personally never heard much about Marsh and to be honest never seen any of his fights so I can't comment on him.

I've never seen Lopez's two fights with Alvarez, which ended in one technical draw and one split decision win for Lopez. Were the decisions in both legit?
What I'm asking is, could a case be made that he lost either of them? Or did he deserve to win both? Or were they right?

Let's just say it was like Vasquez-Marquez where eventhough a knockdown was scored Marquez in this case Lopez IMO, was still ahead....
Not only that but as it goes Alvarez was not penalized for the headbutt why I'm not sure?

The rematch was tough as Lopez was barely making weight and was practically draining himself at that point and you could really see it....
IMO the fight was not a close as it appears, I think for the most part what made it looked close was that Alvarez was tagging Lopez and no one had been able to do that and catch up with Lopez and he was....

I've only seen both fights live and haven't seen either one since......

According to boxrec the point was deducted. From what I read there, the headbutt was ruled accidental, but a point was deducted from Alvarez because Lopez suffered a cut.
It was the same WBC rule that occurred in the DLH-Whitaker fight.

Your right, he was deducted one point, I still can't believe Melvina had the fight 63-68 for Alvarez thats a pretty damn large margin considering the point deduction....
