i thought peter although short and stocky would rip wlad to bits but i was wrong. sanders does not now belong in the same ring sorry guys
No, Sanders is not retired. He may have retired briefly, but as soon as he saw what a pathetic free-for-all the HW division is, he put the Yodels down and began to fight again:

yeah i know he aint retired now but he did retire once. when he fought vitali mentally and physically he was not the same fighter.

the HW scene is pretty sh!t but even corrie would struggle right now to make any sort of impact. against vitali he was so unbelievably out of shape it is hard to imagine that he will ever be in shape, if you cant be in shape for that fight what fight can you be in shape for?

A rematch with Wladdy! Sanders is licking his chops over this. You're wayyyyyyy off...if Shannon Briggs can actually pull a title away from the division, then it stands to reason that Sanders could do it, too. He wobbled big Klit in their bout early on, and if he would have trained accordingly, he probably would have KHTFO! I'm sure Sanders won't make the same mistake twice.

Is this really a serious question? It would be the dumbest thing in boxing history to retire at this point.

But that shot would have had Wladdy doing a Judah all over the ring, or perhaps, outside the ring next to Merchant like he hit 5 Grey Goose Martinis neat before the fight.

I agree! Great. And on top of that: a) How many HW have gone 8 rounds w Vitali? and b) he did it w/o proper excersise, and c) stunned Vitali atleast once or twice with punches that would have ended any normal HW (including baby klit), d) in the last round Corrie was still dangerous, before, while standing the ref. ended it. That is; not even Vitali could KO him.
Conclusion: SANDERS HAS A VERY GOOD CHANCE OF BEATING WK AGAIN.

And it goes without saying that BRIGGS would be a perfect opponent for Sanders: he is almost as big, but faster, more accurate, more ruggged, more chin, more die-hard spirit. I dont think anyone would favour Briggs if they met.
Valuev is a dark horse, scary one too, but Corries speed and accuracy could make it a hellish nite for Val.
Maskaev vs. Sanders; Maskaev is Much too slow. I love Maskaev, but imagine when he slowly plods forward and Corrie lets him back him up against the ropes ..... bang, bang, bang, Maskaev down.

I think that for this to happen SANDERS needs some really good promoters and managers -at his point so late- I would sign w DK if it guaranteed a shot. AND he needs to call TEDDY ATLAS b/c I know what goes on in the gym; SANDERS is the star and charismatic and they let him get away with cutting corners, etc. he needs a trainer who will actually shoot him or kick his ass if he doesnt train. Like Teddy. lol.

Anyway, Im a fan. So perhaps my comments are just dumb.

ITS THE FACT THAT CORRIE IS NOT PERFECT THAT MAKES HIM GREAT - I LOVE THE KLTISCHKOS BUT THEY ARE JUST SOOO DAMN WELL TRAINED AND GROOMED AND DEDICATED AND PERFECT
