Junior Jones was a great fighter. He had very wide shoulders beautiful hand speed and good foot work ! Jones had nice leverage on his shots.

I believe Jones just caught him, Marco never saw that shot coming and also in their rematch marco wasn't hurt and I believe earned a draw.
"Very few people really understand what it means to be a fighter. I hate it when I hear someone say, 'That fighter doesn't have guts. I hate that, I don't care if you're a world champion six times over or a four-round fighter, to step inside that ring, you have to have guts" Oscar De La Hoya

So you don't think he was hurt

When i read the title, i laughed to be honest. Barrera hasnt got the 'best' chin in the world, but to say it is suspect is the kind of language id describe Lennox's, Zab's, RJJ's chin with. Barrera in actaul fact has a very good chin.

Experts compared Nas' power to the bigest in featherweight history . Barrera took his best shots flush without blinking and now theyre trying to say he has a suspect chin ?! Only stopped once in his career and even then he was on his feet

    Its a joke

Barrera boxed a completely different fight to Naz than he did against Jones he countered him off the backfoot and used his jab to keep Naz off balance giving him an extra half second to see whatever Hamed was setting up .

Against Jones , Barrera believed his own hype and was getting hit allday with silly punches his hands were down and he took that big hook flush just as he was throwing his own punches .

Most KO punches come when a fight is either coming forward or countered whilst throwing his own punch which is usually a hook .

The reasons for this is because of where their feet are ( is ) a fighter digs his feet in a little bit more thus the punch they take has a greater effect and secondly they are off balance and have leant alittle too far with their own punch postioning their body weight forward .

They are also normally slightly closer to their opponent and dont see the punches coming .

Barrera learnt from this he boxed more and used more straight punches and his feet better .

True, if Barerra had fought the way he fought against Morales the first time or against Jones he would have been ko'd

I agree with your entire post . CC

Barrera wont be fighting Marquez like he did Jones , leaving his chin out to dry . Its hard to see JMM hurting MAB in this one but I suppose weve seen bigger shots . Marco will pay more attention to his defence but at teh same time stay assertive . Abit like he was in the 1st Morales fight . His hands were high but he was the one taking the fight to Erik
