Thaxton takes centre of the ring immeadiately and forces Lawton back.

Very offensive and clubbing attack from Thaxton. Wobbles Lawton after only 1 minute.

LAwton seems considerably slower than the busy Thaxton, but is trying to counter Thaxton with uppercuts as he comes in.

Lawton starts getting over his nerves and pumping the jab at the end of the first.

Looping hooks, loading up the punches by Thaxton.

Lawton seems to be bloodied around the nose after 1 minute. Thaxton is timing Lawton's counters nicely and dummying to draw Lawton in.

Thaxton trying to get inside, but still working LAwton out. He looks to be less busy, but looking for the bomb.

Thaxton ends with body attack, but Lawton seems to be finding his feet again - but a little too late in the round.

Lawton fights his way out and starts using the jab earlier now - but is getting hit around the face, looking swelled.

Paces slows mid round, Thaxton trying a little too hard - but Lawton's left eye is looking red and grazed.

Better work from Lawton, a bit closer.
