Hayes power is massive he can produce one punch ko's early and late ko's can box can take a shot and his stamina is'nt really a problem anymore if you ask me Mormeck is in big trouble this will be a short reign for him welcome king Haye then bring on Enzo

    Question though....
    How does that work?
If Haye is moving up to Heavy. and fighting at Heavy. against Tomasz Bonin doesn't he loose his ranking at Crusier?

I thought thats the way it was.....
    Ha! As I suspected....

Zahir Raheem vs. Armando Cordoba - ND (8 of 8 rds.)
Originally a unanimous decision win for Raheem, Raheem requested that the result be changed to "No Contest" due to the fact that he had weighed in at 143 lbs. (Light Welterweight is 140) and did not wish his position in the sanctioning bodies in the 130 lb. div. (Lightweight) rankings to be affected by the original result.

So you see if Haye moves up and fights at Heavy. it should and normally would change his ranking with the WBC.....
Don't get me wrong I'm exicited for the fight, I was just curious about that I just learned something new......

Where'd that Zahir Raheem result come from

He is still #1 because he fought an eliminator and won it. it should of been him and bell last, but it was a rematch so they are alowing him to fight bonin as bonin is ranked number 12 by the wbc or sumin like that.

Is basicaly down to the fact that he had won the right to get the next shot, but as bell was busy with JMM they are alowing him to make a quick fight to HW then back to fight JMM

I will assume you read an article or something that is leading you to believe the WBC is allowing this....
Or are you just saying this from your point of view?

Did you actually watch his last fight ? Because i was there 10 feet from the ring and i can tell you he has a problem with stamina . He cant sustain anything and with a big man who can match him for strength he's in trouble .
    this fight is too soon.

You f***ng beauty! Can't wait for this one, David Haye finally gets his chance to prove himself, but he will no doubt be facing his toughest test yet in Mormeck, who worryingly reminds me a bit of Carl Thompson. Mormeck isn't the hardest to hit and his head is a bit stationary, that bodes well for Haye. This'll be a case of who fades first, with Haye fighting at Heavyweight next he may well be asking for trouble, fingers crossed his weight stays ok and he doesn't get cut/injured against a decent fighter in Bonin.
Remember the good old days, we miss you Marco!

To a certain degree i think the same thing.

Not that i care if Haye looses.

Win, loose or draw, i hope he "becomes" during this fight.

I can't imagine for one second that Adam Booth and Frank Maloney would have made the Bonin fight if it jepordised his Mandatory status to fight Mormeck in any way.
I was ringside for the Fragomenni fight and he seemed to get stronger and finished the Italian very well (even launched himself across the ring to do so) indeed late on and with a bad cut.
His stamina seemed ok from where i was sitting.
Tough one to call though but it will end by KO.

I just hope Haye doesnt go mental in there against Bonin. He does it every single fight, he smacks someone in the mouth and instead of having a half look to see how they've taken it he's after them like a looney all guns blazing. If he pulls that kind of crap against Bonin, or indeed Mormeck he's going to end up on his arse.
