Well, it's sounds like BOTH of you want to do it BUT you guys are both scared of what will happen after...

You guys gotta talk and figure out if you are both willing to try, if either one of you IS NOT interested to find out then I would suggest staying as friends and not doing anything. If both of you talk and you both understand the risks that come tied in with making that step then by all means unload one on her for me.

The thing with just being friends with privelages is that they most often end up in friendships being lost... At thats because when theres sex involved theres no friendship in some sense. Let me explain why...
Once you start sleeping together emotions and feelings on both you and her start to changer.... Keep in mind you guys are ONLY friends, next thing you know one day she gonna see you with someother girl just talking and shes gonna ask you joikingly is that your other girl? (Notice how she would say OTHER girl insinuating she is yours) and little by little things will start to get a little rough because since you guys don't have a defining line of whats OK and what isn't you might get jealous about something she does and visa versa....
Relationships like that don't last much cause you guys will always just be in between with nothing really certain...
Thats why I tell you sit down and talk and decide wether you guys are willing to take it to the next stop or not.... If you guys are and you guys are willing to go on with whatever turns out then good luck to the both of you and always keep in mind what has held you totgether as friends for such a long time.....

Difficult one!

People are all so different it's so hard to guess what is (or isn't) going on in her head.

I would lay the cards on the table. Say something like - if you wanna be friends thats cool but no messing with my head. If there were no feelings involved you might not be effected by the teasing it but sounds like it's taking up too much thought space.

Don't buy her any more romantic gifts. If she wants you she'll come round without that. You don't have to be rude or unfriendly but if shes thinking "he's so great why don't I fall for him? Maybe I can just get with him and feelings will grow!?!?" - so she tries occaisionally and then realises it's not working? Gifts and too many unsolicited romantic actions might get this reaction from her since she might feel bad about/ unable to reject those things.

Draw a line in the sand. Be there without asking for anything. Maybe even just assume it's not going to happen. Then there's a chance that when she has her stuff sorted out she'll decide she wants you and you may or may not still be available and feeling the same way. You don't want to feel like you are in limbo for as long as you know her. No waiting for long periods of time for her to make her mind up before you can move on.

I also like Lords suggestions. I'll add that fingernails need to be trimmed short and clean. Dirty fingernails scratching your skin is a MAJOR turn off!

1) Another guy involved, she may be torn having feelings for two guys, and doesn't want it to go any farther cause she doesn't want to eventually hurt you.

2) Low self esteem, she may feel that she cannot live up to your expectations, and doesn't want to dissapoint you.

3) (Least likely) maybe a religious or belief system implication involved.

Sounds like you really like her though, the problem is, there is something that is not being said here. True love requires two things.
Complete honesty and full disclosure. Make sure you are getting the full story.

So.......... slip some Rohypnol into her drink and bang her silly while she is unconscious. When she wakes up, if she doesn't call the police, she must have accepted it as a wierd dream (and must therefore have dreamt it before!)

If she does call the police, quickly drill a hole in her skull with a handy power tool and then claim that she is insane as she can't think straight (I mean, she's got a freaking hole in her head, right?)

I really should consider setting up counselling helpline or something, as I think I'm really good at this.

Eh well it happened with my (now ex) best friend. I was helping her through a hard time with her boyfriend who would go out and cheat on her and justify it saying he was a man and that it didn't mean he didn't love her. And she believed it. But one of her main reasons she didn't leave this guy to her was because he was her first kiss and her first sexual experience, he was the guy who took her virginity and such and she didn't want to feel like she gave it up for nothing.

And this girl was beautiful.. I mean BEAUTIFUL! Inside and out, she had this curly hair that she could wear curly or straight and it was still beautiful....beautiful brunette, she was mixed with a bunch of races and I can't break it down, black, white mexican and cuban I think, probably more. If you asked her she'd say "I'm a mut" anyway, she did have a beautiful body too, she wasn't too skinny but she wasn't too fat either she was in the middle and had these beautiful curves... I tell you this girl was a 100 on a scale of 1 to 10. But what was great about her was she wasn't all looks and etc, she had a great mind and a wonderful heart too, one of the sweetest girls you'd ever meet. But could also throw down and fight when she had to.

lol she was wonderful and beautiful. The only thing she didn't like about herself was that she wore braces and glasses.

So I was there for her and with her for months helping her get over this guy and we grew very close and became very good friends, it got to a point where she would mostly only smile when I was around and was always close to me and she called me
big brother" too and I loved that. But the main key ingredient here is that during that time I was with someone already. And she knew this. So I didn't think anything about when she would always smile when I was around because I guess I wasn't looking for her to like me like that, because she was in a relationship too(A relationship with the guy who always cheats that I was trying to get her out of) but a relationship none the less.


Anyway, it all came to a head when my parents had left the morning to leave me to watch the house, it was a Saturday so I didn't have any school so after I got up to lock the door after I heard my parents left I took off my shirt because it was damp and went back to sleep.

Now I woke up about an hour later and saw her standing above me.. or rather sitting next to me. I thought this was a dream and tried to go back to sleep. I woke up again a little while later and she was standing at the foot of my bed this time and I got up and realised I wasn't dreaming.. so I asked why she was there(although not as calm as that)

I think noticed the patio door on the side of my room screen door opened.

(I'm assuming my mom opened my patio before she left and left the screen door closed) and apparently she just hopped up on my porch and came in through the screen door.

Anyway I asked why she was there and she told me that it was 1 PM and I she missed me..


Alright now I'll skip the dialogue and get to the juicy part.

She basically told me that she was going to leaving her boyfriend. And that the thought of me is what kept her strong, she went on to say I was her faith in humanity and things like that and that there was no other guy in the world like me and that she had been pondering thoughts about me etc etc etc, point blank she said she loved me and then hugged me.

I told her I was with someone, and that the most I could love her would be as a friend or best friend.

She went on to say that she knew that, but that she could love me as something more.

So she then reached and started stroking my little man

So I got up off the bed immediately and told her she's tripping(again, not as calm as that )

She told me she wasn't, and that she was in love and she started chasing me around my room trying to get me down

Now I'm not going to be forceful with no girl not physically forceful and I know I could move her if I wanted to, but I'm not like that.

Anyway she finally cornered me and by this point she was crying and she told me how much she loved me and tried to kiss me but I moved my head and then she grabbed a hold of me and I took her by the shoulders and told her to stop!! And not to do this to herself, or to me, or to us or our friendship. At this point she started crying screaming why I had to be so different and so faithful etc etc etc etc and was crying so I hugged her tight and told her it would be alright..

Alright...at that point, I heard the front door open and my dad shout "Son we're home!!"

first thought that hit my mind..
