i don't know about this being the biggest fight, goldenboy isn't suddenly back to prime goldenboy just because he pounded no defense mayorga.

this could be the biggest dissapoint not biggest fight.imo

take a guy that can sell great vs a guy everyone wants to see lose, yup thats the biggest fight, we miles as well watch wwe.

i'll call the a fight biggest fight if top p4p vs top p4p goes at it. or champions vs champions

now heres a few that are real big fights that really matter.

    hopkins winky
    joe.C kessler
    pac jmm 2
I gurantee that none of those fights will have a multi-city tour(millions invested),HBO mini-series(millions invested),TWO of the biggest names in SPORTS(not just boxing),not to mention all of the drama between Oscar and Floyd.People wanna see Floyd lose because he is dominant.
Hopkins Winky-nowhere near...outside of the boxing world they still arent that big.
Joe C-Kessler-Noneone knows them over here
Pac-JMM-will be a good fight...but outside of the boxing world no one is really interested.
but i gaurantee you those three fights matter most to the sports after the fights.

what happens to pbf and goldenboy after all the build up and investments of time and money. they get it on and one wins but then what?

pac jmm 2, bhop winky, kessler joe.C would sort things out it would matter more then the fight between popular boy vs poster boy.

Pac-Marquez II is a big fight no doubt.
Completely disagree on the other two. Winky and Hopkins are both great fighters, they're also both old and they're fighting at a catch-weight that neither fighter figures to stay at after that fight. I don't see what Winky-Hopkins is going to "sort out."
Sure, Calzaghe-Kessler sorts out 168, but 168 is one of the least glamorous divisions in all of boxing. That's a big fight, but it's a huge fight only in Europe.
