I had my kids in the car and they hit the radio ,was set to an R&B station that had some rap music going the lyrics were “ my nigga my niggan my nigga “ .. then I turned it off immediately ? See what I mean ? I don’t get how that can be on the air with no complaints from the community and then Imus says his peace and gets the AX ? . It don’t add up? Mixed signals cause accidents. Well, to be fair what he said was bad. I mean that is a pretty rough treatment of college girls but not a firable offense. I love how Imus has to answer to Sharpton before he did the girls, and even though they accepted his apology, Sharpton didn't and now Imus is gone.

I like Sharpton sometimes and sometimes I just think he's a publicity hound which is what he is here. Imus had no business saying what he did but it's obvious he regrets it and realizes he shouldn't have said it. Someone needs to knock Sharpton off his soapbox.

Agreed. What he said was more demeaning than anything else. It was in poor taste, but Imus, Stern, Limbaugh, Bob Grant, Jay Diamond, etc. Have made much more outlandish remarks.
I'm sure Sirius and XM, depending on what the courts decide about their merger, are salivating from the mouth right now and will wait for this to settle down. Then they'll probably offer Imus a very lucrative offer in a different time slot to Howard Stern.

If Martin Luther King wasn't killed the country would be much better off right now. He did things because he felt they were just not to gain something politically. If he wouldn't of been assassinated jesse jackson and al sharpeton would have absolutely no power today. He distanced himself from malcolm x and even muhammad ali because he felt they wanted to obtain freedom thru shady means. He wanted equality for all people regardless of race. The problem today is that everyone thinks jj and Al are on the same level as king when it comes to integrity and motive and thats a joke because honestly Jackson and Sharpeton combined don't even equal half the man that king was.

On another note i want that Kamou Kambone relieved of his teaching responsibilities. You can change the channel for a radio but if you take a class you have to listen to the guy in order to pass.

Those two guys are for the black power movement, They ain't worth a piss in the bucket for me. I consider myself an unracist person, I usually try to judge by the contents rather than the cover.
