I cant see Hatton willing to risk his body the way corrales did so i'd go with Castillo to win on points, hatton is still young and he does not want to have too many punishing fights and with his weak skin it is a risk

If Castillo comes in shape he can win. This fight doesn't seem as appealing after watching their last outings, but It could turn out to be fight of the year. Hatton better not take this fight lightly, of Castillo will hurt him.

His last two fights. (which, recall, are his only two fights since he KO'd Chico in October of 2005)Originally Posted by liquid

Granted, Castillo--even more than most fighters--doesn't seem to put nearly the effort in when its not a big fight. But on the other hand, he's had a longer career than Hatton and has been in with much better competition and way more wars.
If this fight were 3 years ago, I'd say wide UD or TKO for Castillo. Today, it's way more of a pick'em for me. If JLC comes in fresh and determined though, he still wins.
i dont
Nope, hatton has done it again picked what looks like a 50-50 fight when in reality it isnt, he fought kostya, when he was 35 and hadnt boxed in ova year since he beat mitchell, since then hatton has looked anything but a world beater, now he takes on a 33 year old castillo who has fought once at the weight and didnt look good. Add to that, castillo is starting to show signs of all his battles down the years. hatton will win, but if he wants to be known as a world beater its time he starts taking on the younger, hungry fighters like cotto, and mayweather. Thats how he will build a legacy not by beating 30 somethings who in there day were the best but its got to be said seen beta days.
Castillo definetley has what it takes to win this. I think he will stop Hatton late in the fight.
AS SOON AS CASTILLO LANDS A FEW BODY SHOTS HATTON WILL BE OUT OF THERE!
CASTILLO BY LATE ROUND KO! ! !

Ricky is gonna eat some uppercuts but I think he will do enough to win it.
