I think Frank and his lot have missed their chance, now I think if Haye beats Mormeck he'll say "You can chase me up to heavyweight Frank. You blew it now make it worth MY while,"

As far as the fight goes, Mormeck was really good against Bell, but isn't the hardest to hit, especially with a right cross, Haye's money punch. If Mormeck gives Haye time and space to load up then its over for him, if he can pressure him he's got a good chance. I think to win Mormeck needs to fight in a Ricky Hatton/Mike Tyson style of just constant pressure and forward momentum, never give Haye a second to get his eye in.

Really though I'm generous to the frenchie, I think Haye will flatten him, within 4 rounds.
Remember the good old days, we miss you Marco!

This is 50-50 fight because they both have stamina problems but only difference imo is chins i think Hayes chin is questionable where as Mormeck has got great chin and i see him losing first 4 rounds then go on to stop Haye in 6th round but its very even fight and could go either way.

I dont think Mormeck has good stamina though, why would he come on so strong after the first few rounds? He's very stocky and has good head movement but he's much smaller than hay and has much shorter arms. He hasn't got much of a jab whereas Haye has a ramrod jab with a good long reach. When Mormeck plants his feet and lets rip with his overhand rights and lefts he's pretty dangerous, and Haye would do well to keep his left hand high and not throw any right-hand leads.

Haye should box cautiously to start with and break Mormeck down. Mormeck will rush in and try and put Haye under pressure, so Haye needs to survive through that and pick off Mormeck from range. Then, as the fight goes on and Mormeck gets more tired and sloppy, Haye needs to unload big counters and get on top that way. I think late KO by Haye.

Boy you Brits really are crazy about this Haye Fella aren't ya?
Honestly I've never seen David Haye fight but he must hit pretty hard the way you all are talking, if so, then why the hell is he goin back down to Cruiser weight instead of KO'n some of the bums at HW?
"You knocked him down...now how bout you try knockin me down ?"

Good question mate, i see no point going back down, but saying that even if he gets beat by Mormeck he can still go up and challenge, the thing with Haye he has very explosive power very quick right, hes just very exciting to watch but we still have to be cautious as he hasnt really been in with the elite just yet.

Still, if Sam Peter, or even Lamon Brewster were in line to fight Mormeck next, would they try to drop the weight and fight him? No. It just doesn't make much sense to me, less this Haye fella is a real small HW or something.

Haye has very good straight right hand there is some footage of him on youtube you can watch few they don't last very long

But his weaknesses are his suspect chin and suspect stamina other than that good boxer who can bang very hard.
