I think Freitas is a bitch. What separates boxing from every other sport is the fact that it can end at any moment. A football game is going at least 60 minutes, it may go overtime but you know it will last at least 4 quarters. A baseball game is going at least 9 innings. A basketball game will last at least 4 quarters. There is no 'at least' in boxing. The one thing that makes this possible is the KNOCKOUT. It's the intangible that allows a fighter who is getting his @ss handed to him to have a chance to win in a split second. It's what saved Toney against Nunn, Chavez against Taylor and other fighters who seemingly had no chance. It's also the main factor why people pay hard earned money to come and see a fight. Freitas is a f#ckin' pu$$y who will always rob the boxing public of this if things don't go his way, like a little spoiled brat. He feels alittle pain and it's sayonara. Waaa, waaa, I'm worried about my health. Then go be a f@ckin' door to door vaccum cleaner salesman. I'll never watch this disgrace of an so called athlete again.

he did good defensively for most of the fight, but got hurt bad a few times. He knew he couldn't overcome the power of the baby bull.

He didn't look that hurt, he looked broken(spirit). Agreed he took some punishment, but when you looked in his eyes, you could see he's scared. Quitting on your stool twice, without being seriously hurt is shameful. He should never show his face around boxing again.

Fukin Freitas. I was damn surprised when I saw that Juan Diaz could HURT him with a single punch more than he could hurt Diaz. My perception of the fight changed right there, but I still thought Freitas could outbox and eventually stop Diaz. He couldn't though. Seems to me like Freitas doesn't have the rage or the hunger in him anymore, I guess that fame, fortune, and a really hot wife will do that to a guy. Its a shame, the guy was 29-0 with 29 KO's at one time. Think about that. And now he's quittin on the stool agianst a volumne punching kid. Good for Diaz though, I guess, he showed heart and looks to really want to be the best in the world and start fighting the best.

anyways i don't think freitas is a punk, its a classic old fighters get even older when they have taken the easy way out before. It happens when a fighter doesn't want to fight anymore doesnt mean his a punk now, it just means he has moved on....

I hope freitas does retire, It was fun watching him k.o a lot of guys but i think its time to hang up the gloves. thanks for the fights freitas, good luck and you lucky dog your wife is hott, so at the end of the day your still a freaking WINNER!!!!

I feel like a hyprocrite for saying Frito's isn't a bitch for quitting when I've called fighters worse for doing the same thing. I believe Morales quit a bit too soon in "The Grand Finale" for example.

I guess it's a judgement call we all have to make. I feel Frito's had done enough to say he tried. He went 8 of 12. Personally, I only had him winning the first round.

You guys need to get over Freitas he got on top for a minute and his fights were also hand picked until he was forced to fight Corrales who shoked him and well need I say it again what he did twice now! He will not be back fighting at least in the US maybe back where hes from or Manchester but never here in the states again bet on that!
