Um...I happen to know Spanish. He did say that the fight was not over and followed it up with 'the fight starts now.' Freitas was shaking his head no. Immediately after, they changed cameras to Diaz' corner and in that time, the referee asked Freitas' corner if they were going to continue I guess by that time, it was agreed that Freitas would not continue. Reports go that while Freitas was the one that did not want to go on, it was his trainer who admitted that he wanted to stop the fight just to save Freitas from any immediate public scrutiny.

Beanflicker an MistaDibbs I guess we were watching the same fight guys. Your right you can not compare us to a champion boxer there is a rule in the boxing game you never QUIT! And MISTADIBBS yea your right Suarez told Fretias THE FIGHT STARTS NOW and yes Freitas shook his head no like the QUITTER he really is. I doubt we ever see him fight out here in the US nobody will want to pay him and they shouldn't have paid him this time! ! !

I would have to see it again to be 100% sure. But that is not how I remember it. I remember the corner saying "Esta pelea se acabo ya" and Popo nodding yes. Maybe he said something before that I missed but the overall impression I got is that they all new Freitas would not survive another round and it made no sense sending him out again.

I even remember arguing at the TV(I must have looked silly LOL) saying "thats not what he is saying" to the translator. But I guess if I am the only one who noticed it I might be wrong. I will try to see it again if they repeat it.

Hmm....I think Oscar Suarez is Cuban if I am not mistaken. That means spanish. Eather way Spanish and Portuguese are very similar languages.

Horseshit they are. I speak both and they ave very different. The crowd was Brazilian and I enjoyed practicing my Portugese with them. Oscar Suarez is, in fact Cuban and sucks big time. Ask Hamed. But your right, who cares? Popo has no heart. He lost it after his great war with Berrios.

Nnnooo, that was the translator... OH who cares, it doesn't matter now. Popo had nothing left and he was gonna get hurt bad if he continued. It does not matter if it was Popo or Suarez or the Ref or the ring doctor or even the ring doctor's mother's dog who decided to stop the fight. The point is the fight should have been stopped and I am glad it ended when it did.

Baby Bull Diaz did a great job and I think he is ready for Casamayor and anybody else in his division for that matter.
