I like Mosley, I haven't seen too many of his fights, but from what I've seen he's a great fighter and a nice guy. The only problem I have with him is that outside the ring his wife seems to carry his testicles around in her purse![]()
SSM helped me out when I was in desperate need of cash and hurting financially when I was in Vegas................by "winning" against Oscar in their rematch![]()

Shane was on top of the world when he beat oscar 2000 the first time but his pride and heart made him fight vernon twice then after a questionable W over oscar in 2003 he got pride and heart made him fight Winky twice in 2004. Thats why he doesn't have the stardom. when he fought oscar in 2003 boxing was alot less popular than it was in 2000. i know that sounds crazy but it was. In 2000 Oscar Shane Tito and Vargas were pretty hot. Plus the Heavyweight divison wasn't quite as shitty. Tyson Holyfield and lennox were still some what respectable but in 2003 we wanted to tyson and holyfield to go home. this had some effect on shane as well as every other fighter.

You know.......... that's a damn good question. I myself like Mosley and have always rooted for him. Aside from being an all-time great boxer, he's such a nice guy. What a refreshing change from the Judahs and the Toneys of the boxing world. I'm sorry, but although what counts is what goes on inside the ring, I personally put some stock in how they conduct themselves outside the ring, as well.
I didn't like Shane, simply because I still think De la Hoya beat him in the rematch.
But I have since come to respect him for finally fighting Vargas. I saw ODH fight all the big bad boys of his era and Shane fought some tough customers too but they were different, I mean you can't really compare Trinidad and Forrest or Vargas and Wright, those guys are so different in their mindsets and in their strategies but they are all good fighters
It just took me a while to accept that Shane fought who he could and I think maybe Oscar's name carried more weight which is why he always got the bigger fights
Shane's living proof that you can be a great, exciting and entertaining boxer without being an a**hole......... a concept some of today's "great" fighters can't seem to grasp.
