Honmo, doesn't have the defense to keep Valero from utilizing his straight shots.
    3-4 round ko Valero
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.

His last opponent shouldnt have even been in the ring. I just dont think it will take an excellent fighter to beat Valero, just a very durable one.
Not at all BoomBoom you and what you read were right he is a slick boxer but lacks the actual skill part of it. But your spot on on him beinf slick.

    Default Valero retains title!!!!!

    Valero keeps WBA 130lb belt!
    By Joe Koizumi
Japan-based Venezuelan KO artist Edwin Valero (22-0, 22 KOs), 130, kept his WBA 130-pound belt as he kept stalking WBA mandatory challenger Nobuhito Honmo (29-5-2, 5 KOs), 129.5, all night, bloodied him by opening four lacerations and finally halted him at 1:54 of the eighth round on Thursday in Tokyo, Japan. Valero, a hard-punching southpaw, failed to drop the defensive and negative Japanese, but kept throwing punches from all angles to make it a very lopsided affair. Before the stoppage due to Honmo's bad bleeding, the official scorecards were: 70-63, 70-64 and 69-64, all for the defending champ. Valero is to fight his next bout in the US according to his promoter Akihiko Honda of Teiken Promotions. (More to come)

Valero pounded the crap out of him for 8 rounds, but could'n drop Homo. Finally stopped him in the 8th. Homo can's punch.

Don't think so. Valero is a stamina nut and other boxers will tell you that he is like a human machine who never gets tire. One of his best friends is Ponce De Leon, another stamina freak. Valero is much more than a ko fighter.
