    Now thats just ignorant.

Oscar and Floyd dont belong in the same paragraph as those greats you mentioned let alone the same sentence.

Oscar and Floyd are nothing more than hyped up fighters. Floyd was good at 130, and 135 but hasnt done a damn thing since entering 140. And Oscar is 1-4 in his last 5 fights. Nuff said. This fight was nothing but hype. And a battle between two of the most overrated fighters in history.

Floyd fought in the gloves you wanted, in the ring you wanted, and in the weight you wanted, and didn't complain, and you couldn't give Floyd any credit? Floyd gave Oscar credit for fighting a great fight and making it rough at least. Oscar was crying about being the champion and Floyd not taking his title, but Floyd is P4P #1 and this fight was worth more than that title. Oscar is a little bitch and last night proved it for me. Deep down inside where it counts he's a little bitch. He came out thinking he was the bigger man and was gonna have a huge power advantage and he didn't. He thought he would have Floyd running all night and Floyd stood tall for the most part. He underestimated Floyd's chin and Floyd's desire to win. Floyd probably has more natural talent than anybody but the reason he's so good is because of his unbelievable work ethic and his intense desire to win.

BTW, ODLH fans, I could have sworn that I've heard Oscar say around a hundred times that he's prepared to throw 30 to 40 jabs a round. He didn't and when Larry asked him why he didn't throw, he said "It just wasn't the night of the jab." WHAT THE F***?!?! What's the difference between the fight he fought and the fight Diego Corrales fought against Floyd? Oscar worked harder than Diego while Floyd was on the ropes but that's basically it. He lost his focus, he followed Floyd around the ring not jabbing, and he fought when Floyd allowed him to fight. It's just sad that he couldn't be a man and give Floyd his credit.
id say that Floyd ran like a little bitch for most of the fight, and De La Hoya did what he said he was, or tried to, which was make it a rough physical fight, and he made it very close fight, losing only by one round, if the judge that scored it 115-113 for PBF would have scored one more round for DLH than we would of had a draw, so plz all of you stop with the, FLOYD DOMINATED HIS ASS, FLOYD EMBARASSED HIS ASS, cause really when you get down to it he embarassed himself more than anything, talking so much shit and doing so little

Well said. That's what I was thinking the whole time.... PBF when are you gonna "ice dis muddafuka" PBF when is the "massacre" gonna start. And then uncle Rog saying I told you he was gonna "whoop his ass" ? I saw nothing of the sort. I saw a potshotting slip and dodging fighter. And anyone who says PBF showed class after ward? He said it was easy work. Lots of class and lots of humility right

Nicely said. There is nothing worse than a fighter who clearly lost trying to make excuses for their showing without giving credit to the winner. Peter: Toney was the last time that turned me off. Im a huge Toney fan but it was awful having to hear him slur how he won the fight and didnt give Peter any credit. Its not cool.

Where was Oscar PROMISING to knockout Floyd with his right hand.

Oh and lets not forget Oscar saying so coldly "You're right..this will be your last fight, I'll make sure of that"

Or that "My jab will stop his speed, I'll be using it all night"

Where was that for mr "tonight wasnt the night of the jab" ?

Floyd mayweather called oscar a P---Y. But Floyd is the one that looked like a p---y running all night even when oscar was tired.
He didnt try to go toe to toe with oscar. And he acts like he killed oscar ,
I just didnt see that i feel bad for oscar he cant get a decision when it can go either way. lets go to the trinidad fight oscar dominated that fight, execpt for the last two rounds he did a mayweather (running around the ring) so the judges took the fight from him. Then they critized him for not pressing the fight in the last two rounds, but when mayweather does it he's a great figher. thats why boxing is not a top sport anymore, everyone rather watch ufc fights you cant run around the cage you have to fight. I just believe that you have to beat the champion decisevely to win and i just felt oscar was the one who pressed the fight and it should have been a draw. Remember oscar had'nt fought in three years and still gave mayweather all he could handle and should have keep his belt, it would have been better for a rematch, maybe this time it would have forced mayweather to fight more, i think he's scared to go toe to toe with power puncher maybe thats why he wont fight margarito.
I just dont see all the hype on mayweather he fought a older semi-retired oscar and almost lost and never tried to finish oscar even he was tired he was scared of getting knocked out. And oscar didnt say nothing but the truth post fight, I dont think you can compare the class between oscar and mayweather. the one who talked all the trash and still looks like crap is mayweather yeah he won the fight but he knows deep down inside he should have brawled more and run less, oscar has no reason to hold he head down.
HE SHOWED HE HAS COJONES UNLIKE MAYWEATHER WHO HAS THEM IN HIS MOUTH, THATS ALL HE DOES IS TALK TOUGH BEFORE THE FIGHT THEN RUN AROUND THE RING ALL NIGHT.

Ugh. This is so tired. He didn't run. Compare this to what Oscar did at the end of the Trinidad fight (which IMO Oscar still should have won anyway). They look entirely different. Did you even watch the fight? This is just a talking point....

This is a joke, right? Do you really think ANYONE EXCEPT OSCAR would have gotten a single judge to score that fight for him?? The only reason this was an SD and not a UD is because Oscar's a star. He got star treatment.

This is the dumbest one of them all. Oscar is only 34. Floyd is 30. They're basically the same age. And neither of them is old. There are always excuses from the haters after Floyd wins a fight. Think of something original next time.

Maybe thats because Oscar knows Floyd never really beat him and was flat out robbed! Floyd didnt run as much as I thought he might but he was getting hit more Oscar was blocking most Floyds shots! ! !

    Oscar is 2-2 in his last 4 fights lol... all of which have been world title fights, 2 of which the other guy was the p4p #1 on the world, also 2 of which were at a devison he was well out of his depth in yet walked away 1-1 only lossing to the p4p #1 and the MUCH bigger guy;

I've yet to read a single boxing journalist say that De la Hoya won the fight. A few nut-huggers on this board claim to think he won, but "many" is a huge overstatement.
