They should do it again, not only will it be a financial windfall for PBF, but going by the reaction to the result on this forum at least ,there is unfinished business here. It would need to happen by September/October and DLH would need to work out a new game plan for the later rounds.
The result was close enough to go another time and fight fans would love to see it happen again.
PBF won't turn down 20Mill plus for a rematch, he isn't that crazy!

This forum, unfortunately, has a high number of die-hard De la Hoya fans who refuse to see the fight for what it was. There is no unfinished business. Floyd won the fight clearly. It was not close. Look anywhere else on the internet where are professional commentators who watch and write about fights for a living--I've yet to find a single reporter scorecard that wasn't 116-112 for Mayweather. But to my unprofessional eyes it wasn't even that close.

I must have missed something in those early rounds, i had Oscar ahead after 8 and he blew it from 9 onwards. I think it was close, a lot of Floyd's punches were not scoring punches, anyway I still think he won and money talks in Vegas.

Oscar can never beat Floyd over 12 and he knows it.
Floyds too slick for him to land that left hook and he burns so much energy trying to land it that by the 9th he's running on fumes.
Strange because the only big punch that landed flush was thrown by Floyd in the 5th (right hand) that buckled Oscars legs

I said after Oscar won the 7th round, and when he made it 4-3 either way that the rematch was going to happen as neither fighter is going to win by more then 2 rounds. Awesome fight, would not be disappointed in the least to see a rematch even though, well it wouldn't be as exciting but at least we have proof that Oscar can beat Floyd. He made it damn close, the closest fight Floyd has had since he fought Castillo.

I really didnt think this fight was as close as the judges scored it. Floyd didnt beat his ass but as far as boxing goes, he pretty much took him to school. I didnt see Oscar land one solid punch that ever did anything to take Floyd off his game one step and I thought Mayweather made him miss most of his shots. There does not need to be a rematch here. The only reason for one would be to raise more money for two already overpaid fighters. If Floyd stays I would like to see him fight Shane Mosley or Ricky Hatton (just cuz i would like to watch a repeat asswhipping reminiscent of the Gatti/Floyd fight) Cotto or Margarito, providing they both win. Really there are a few good young bucks Floyd could fight at welter that would be entertaining but he dont need to fight Oscar again. Like I said it wasnt that close. I feel if they DO go at it again we are sure to see a Delahoya robbery as promoters and the shady band of boxing's big men would make sure to give him the decision to seal a third big money maker. I have seen that happen already too many times and to see it again might make me sick.

If Oscar stays I would like to see him fight Winky or Calzaghe at a catch weight. Either that or maybe a revenge match against Tito or Shane.

But what if Oscar fought on the backfoot and saved energy,amazes me when everyone goes looking for Floyd.
Oscar was the champ and should have let PBF come after him imo,would have and could be very interesting.
