He's hardly going to stand toe to toe and trade blows with a 154 lb Hall of Famer when he's a natural 140 lber at best.

He keeps moving up in weight and fighting guys bigger and stronger than him and he keeps winning.

It would be physically impossible for someone of Floyd's size to stand and trade with someone who has fought as a full blown middleweight sp he wins using his superior craft and speed.

How anyone can even think Manny Pacquiao should be p4p number 1 is completely beyond me.

Pacman is a very exciting fighter but he's beatable even by guys in his own division. Marquez would have a great chance in a rematch I'm sure.

I know he's already moved up a few divisions but there's no way his style could win him fights against the best at lightweight so nobody even expects him to move up.

Floyd has gone up far beyond his own natural weight class and gets berated for the fact that he didn't stand, trade and walk through one of the modern greats, a 10 time 6 weight world champ and Olympic Gold medalist?

Thats like expecting Manny Pacquio to move up to 140 and overwhelm and knock out Ricky Hatton
Yea yea yea so what! And yea pacquio is all this and that and a bag of chips!

I think Floyd came in with a solid gameplan and executed it well. He also demonstrated that he has a decent chin, he took some clean shots from Oscar (One that sticks out in my mind was in the last 20 seconds or so), but it was Oscar who looked a bit stunned at times.
As far as Paquiao, he's an exiting fighter, a great fighter, but I'd rate him no higher than #3 P4P at best, and thats being generous.
Last 5 seconds to be exact...when nobody was expecting it.
Thanks Floyd you're the best...blah blah blah...pound for pound my ass! " I will whoop his ass" " Oscar don't like no confrontation...he a bitch " " I will massacre him " BLAH BLAH BLAH...

Floyd had a big chance to win me over in this past fight. If he would've been capable of bxing the hell out of Oscar he would've a new fan. His performance on sat wasnt that of the p4p best in the world. A pound for pound fighter would've emberassed Oscar. Oscar was overrated in his prime. Never really that great. And now he's old. So why was the fight that close? Is it because Floyd is untested past the lightweight div. And only looks great against bums. Or is it that Oscar was an all-time great and even a faded version would give the best in the world some opposition. I'd pick the first option because the second option sounds ridiculous. A dissapointing night of boxing for me. To me this fight further exposed how overrated he is. Even in the Judah fight. You can see the holes in Floyds game. When he steps in with a real young fighter who fights full-time he's gonna get a rude awakening.

No dude, the problem is PBF said that's what he's gonna do. I respect his boxing ability. How would you feel if Pernell Whitaker talked that kind of trash.... I'm ko'ing JLC.... And then fights his normal style? The problem is this, and I make a living selling things. The number 1 rule is never overpromise and under deliver. Instead you should underpromise and overdeliver.

PBF intentionally OVERPROMISES and under delivers. To me he's a con man. Just be who you are. Your a slick boxer.... Talk slick boxer trash, "you won't be able to touch me, etc.... Not Tyson trash. Like he's some kind of ko artist.
CC I agree with this although I do find myself liking Floyd alot more recently because I appreciate his defence, which is ATG stuff!!

I certainly agree that PAc is beatable even now in his prime, simply becuase he gives his opponents the chance to do so with the way he fights, JMM and MAB are both terrific boxers in their own rights but chooses to trade once in a while. Heres what I think if Floyd fights PAC toe to toe and mixes it up with him, Floyd will go down in less than 6... to be quite frank Pac will not let Floyd run, he can clinch all he wants but Pacman is no ODLH, he will have the stamina to keep on punching until Floyds heels wore off and arms swollen. All he does is run stick and run again then clinch if the the oponent gets too close for comfort... makes sense he has a flawless record, but never really got into the hearts of the majority. The guy runs, thats not defense thats running...The guy clinches, thats not defense thats making love. For the record, I think Oscar won the fight.

i thought oscar won the fight if im honest. although it was close i gave it oscar by 2 rounds. but floyd thought it was easy aparently (wanker)! and he has nothing more to prove either, according to him he is the greatest fighter to ever lace up gloves, but he doesnt have to prove himself anymore after making that statement.

Honestly...you know better than to ask that if I'm in the house.

I don't think...NO...I know that there's no other fighter out there than can match Floyd skill for skill...& I really REALLY have a high opinion of Hopkins & Wright...but Floyd's tip top.
