    You beat me to it.

I guess I must have been sleeping when Cotto turned into the second coming of Mike Tyson. He couldn't KO Urkal or Malignaggi, yet he's a better puncher than Oscar? Makes no sense.

Let's see what Cotto does on June 9th before we start raving about his power.

The problem with that Lyle is, while someone is wasting time hitting Mayweather in the shoulder or the arm, Floyd would be busy, cleaning them up with counters...

Ask Oscar how hard Floyd hits, he buckled Oscars knees a few times.... You think Cotto has the chin of Delahoya NO NOT EVEN CLOSE!!!!!!

So yea perfect strategy Fuk around and waste punches and energy bt hitting shoulders, and get your bell rung in return...

mayweather can handle pressure easily. he's hasn't lost you boob.

that proves it and being fragile, he took de la hoyas shots. most of them weren't clean but he still took them

Come on are you serious? He'd make Cotto look foolish. Anyone who gets outboxed by Oktay Urkal ain't gonna do S*** to the pretty boy

Althouigh i think floyd would beat both cotto nd hatton i dont c how people think cotto would do well nd hatton would get spanked i mean cotto does have more one punch power but thats it, i think how cotto does against juda will give u some sign of how he would do against floyd so ill think more bout his chances after that nd i also agree he doesnt hit as hard as oscar

How are you going to counter when you're getting hit in the arms? I mean you need your arms to throw punches and they can't very well throw a punch while accepting a punch at the same time.....it's just a thought.

Also if you sort of keep Floyd on the defensive and blocking maybe you find an opening....maybe we should just wait for a light to fall from the ceiling to KO Floyd.

Not being a smartass but he aint hitting both arms at the same time.... I keep telling you guys but Floyd is a special talent and after the Delahoya fight, I am convinced his defense is better than Winky,Hopkins and Toney... Floyd wont be getting KO'D anytime soon just like Whitaker didnt

....Judah caught him good.....Floyd counts on his speed and reflexes and much like RJJ he'll get caught one of these days

Every great fighter gets caught and rocked..... just like a tailback gets tackled, but only a few never get that devastating or injury resulting hit...

Never disagreed with you more Roy isint even a quarter of the defensive mastery and fundamentals Floyd has, Floyds Hybrid Philly shell is completely and 100% effective... Floyd has what Roy had athltically except power, but relies on his fundamentals 1st and athletic ability 2nd

It's not that Cotto is a harder puncher then De La Hoya, it's that he's a pressure fighter. And he's not going to smother Floyd on the ropes, and when Cotto has a little more polish and does more of what he did in the Quintana fight in regards to throwing on the outside then I think he can present a legitimate challenge to Floyd. Right now, probably not, a year or two if he keeps progressing at this rate, I think so.

I think attacking PBF's body (chest and arms included) would really help beat his defense......then again I just want to see Miguel Cotto land a left hook on Floyd.

PBF would be too quick, but I can dream can't I? Shame there is no Tommy Hearns around to startch out this punk
I actually still believe the guys with the best chance to beat Floyd at welter are the likes of Margarito and Williams. Just their sheer size will cause him problems.

We all saw Oscar put pressure on Floyd early in a way we've not really seen before. Someone like Margarito or Williams might be able to follow that up more.

It's ironic, I feel Margarito will batter Williams into a bloody pulp, but Williams just because of his sheer length might represent one of the biggest challenges to Floyd.

I'm 95% sure that Floyd outboxes Cotto with ease, he would destroy Hatton. He'd be too quick for Mosely.

That leaves Williams and Margarito as the only real candidates to beat him, although I'd quite like to see how he would handle Kasim Ouma's relentless punches. Ouma would drop down to fight him I'm sure but no way in hell Floyd would ever take that fight as the money just wouldn't be there which is a shame as Kasim's workrate and proven chin and stamina would give Floyd a hard night's work.
i dunno but i see a lot of people here giving margarito a lot of credit.. i havent seen much of his fights but the last fight he fought with clottey he couldnt even hurt a hurt clottey. and i dont think he will catch pbf either given pbf's style..
