    1. He didn't score the knockdown
    2. I thought Barrera only hit him while he was on the floor because Nady hesitated and didn't call it fast enough, so Barrera felt he had to go and hit him again.
had to go with this choice also. damn turnaround, the fight would have won by barrera after that he got discouraged and you know the rest of the story..
Wouldn't of made slight difference to winner though because judges had it so wide it didn't matter.
I completely disagree, I felt this encouraged Marquez because he knew he'd been dealt a break, thus performed better because of it.

Reid got robbed in this fight. The referee was a fucking disgrace. The IBF should have been ashamed of themselves for appointing him and the thieving judges. As Reid said after the fight "At least Dick Turpin wore a mask when he robbed people"

    Yeah!
It seems like it was decided that Augustus has lost the fight before it even began.

Didn't Williams have an odd point deduction in his Tyson fight too?
I'll have to check my tapes again. I don't quite remember what happened, but I think he had an odd point deduction in his fight against Tyson. I just remember it seems the ref wanted Tyson to win that fight so badly.

I would go with firstly..Jay nady deducting a point and no knockdown to barrera agaist marquez..

And secondly..What do you know..Jay Nady again..

Felix Trinidad vs Fernando Vargas when he sent trinidad to the corner and to talk to him for five minutes before finally deducting a point having spoke to him for a fair while.. Like lederman said.. You dont speak to a guy for five minutes and then decide to deduct a point..If its worthy of a point deduction then you send him to the corner and deduct a point immediately

Out of the options, I'll have to go with Camacho. Deducting a point because someone doesn't want to touch gloves IS RETARDED.

He also got deducted a point after being floored for the first time by lacy from a blatantly ilegal shot

For spinning out against Burton? That was a joke. The whole fight was a joke.

Didnt Burton win by a split when the judges actually had it as a majority? Jokers!

YES, more of a disgrace. God awful decision. Emanual then crunched Burton in the rematch. Ah, sweet revenge.

Recently,I'd say some of the deuctions for Miranda v Abraham for supposed low blows. From what I remember, they were totally legit bodyshots.

lol, that's exactly how I felt. I thought Barrera was in the fight until that. I didn't think anyone would agree with me.
Yup . Nady has always been an awful ref but that night he was just plain ridiculous . Unfortunatley we had blind judges that night also so the whole thing was a farce

Thats not what happened at all. Haugen would not touch Camacho's gloves. While the ref was lecturing Haugen about touching gloves, Camacho reached over an punched Haugen in the face. How is that a bad point deduction?
