PBF was rocked DLH a few times in the fight and landed the harder shots throughout the fight. DLH would flurry while PBF was on the ropes and PBF would back him up with straight right hands.

It's no big suprise that I can't stand Mayweather as a person, which ruins him for me as a boxer. But I'll be damned if it doesn't speak volumes about his skill when we're now looking at Winky Wright to "dethrone him." Little Floyd in moving all the way up in weight to men like Winky. I don't think he'd win, but if I were him I'd give it a shot. I don't see Winky stopping him.... hmmmm. Why not?

even if floyd doesn't have all that much power, he still punches harder than winky... a winky floyd fight would actually turn out great i think.. alotta pressure and straight punches just aimed at landing by winky in numbers... then u got the percision 1 2's from floyd.. however if floyd would want to win that fight he'd have to make sure he hit winky hard and early and make winky respect him.. or he'd just get out worked (even tho floyds got the stamina on him).... however i may be wrong, winky looks slower nowadays and might just miss like a fool most the night..

if winky threw a good hard jab all night which he would have potential of doing and he could win this fight on points, even a 30 round fight these guys wouldn't drop eachother. i always thought the killer instinct in boxer's was what most ppl wanted, apparently it's the age of the scorecards...

Winky is a defensive specialist but he can kick your ass when he wants to. Problem is that he doesn't take too many risks.

thats the problem man.. boxing is a risk.. you never know..no matter how defensive you are, somebody will get lucky someday and would knock the seeds out of your mellon...as what you say about winky.. he has it in him to fight and kick a** but dont deprive fight fans of what they want to see coz you wont take risks.. none of these fighters would be where they are now if it wasnt for us fight fans

I could see floyd taking some notes from the Vargas playbook when he beat Winky. Yes winky is a defensive specialist, but it's usually against straight punchers. Vargas beat him because he's an angle fighter and Floyd definitely has the discipline to change up his game plan a little. I see Floyd winning this fight if they meet in the middle on weight.

It comes to something when the only person who seems to have much of a chance of beating floyd actually fights about 3-4 weight divisions above floyd. It also comes to something when its Floyd haters who start these threads. If you start a thread like this, in a way you are celebrating just how good mayweather actually is.....thus kicking yourself in the nads.

I'm not sure if Floyd would get dominated by Winky, but I would definitely make Winky the favorite going into the fight.
Winky has fought his entire career at 154 and above, whereas Floyd has spent almost his entire career in the 130s and 140s.

I don't see how this fight ever happens. If Winky weighs close to the 170 pound limit against BHop, then that's too much to ask of someone Winky's age to drop all the way back down to 154.

I don't see how Floyd would agree to fight Winky at anything above 154. Floyd's already far enough above his natural weight class as it is.
