steve young is probably the only left handed (he was left handed right?) quarterback that could run AND throw the ball well.

Elway is the man. No one else compares to his ability to win games and not fold in crunch time. I can't give nearly as much credit to Montana or Young because they were on great teams. Elway was the heart of his team so many times and coming from behind to beat the Browns in the 4th quarter seals the deal.

    The Drive"

The 1986-87 campaign was another stellar statistical year for John, but it will forever be remembered for a single post-season milestone on his journey from star quarterback to NFL legend – a 15-play, 98-yard offensive series in the AFC Championship game now known simply as, "The Drive."

Trailing by seven with less than six minutes left in regulation and starting at the Broncos two-yard line following a booming Cleveland Browns punt, John directed an awe-inspiring, nearly flawless series of downs that culminated in a five-yard touchdown pass to Mark Jackson.

That score tied the game with just 39 seconds remaining and sent it into overtime, where John conducted a 60-yard drive to set up the game-winning field goal by Rich Karlis. Final score: Broncos, 23 – Browns, 20. Despite a loss two weeks later to the New York Giants in Super Bowl XXI, the foundation had been laid for John’s reputation as the greatest comeback QB of all time. In recognition of his season’s achievements, John was voted into the Pro Bowl for the first time.

He was a lefty....I don't trust left handed quarterbacks (as a former offensive lineman...I dislike them they turn the offense around). Montana and Young are both very good but look at Joe he's just the best ever...4 Superbowls! But really you have to hand it to Bill Wlash and George Seifert for doing what they did with those teams.

Michael Vick is GARBAGE! Him and Marcus are worthless pieces of shit....think of it, they have been handed everything since high school and yet they keep fucking up!

"The Drive" happened because the Browns were in prevent defense, so the Broncos could nickle and dime them for 10-20 yards at a time. Elway was good, but I hate him still to this day.

No one has mentioned Cowboy Troy Aikman....a good solid QB helped by the likes of Smith, Irving, but more importantly 'Moose' Johnston and Jay Novaceck

Ok lets look at the patriots final possesions in their three winning superbowls. The first two were fieldgoals which is like losing a boxing match by dominating the first 4 rounds, getting headbutted, losing the 5th and the fight gets called afterwards giving your opponent a techinical decision. The 3rd one, brady handed off to his running back 3 str8 times. Good strategy? yes but don't call him the most clutch qb in history when you wouldn't put it in his hands to try and convert a first down when they needed one.
one name FAVRE!!! He has done it without the best offense or defense....The is only 1 HOF'er (Reggie White) on his team...Montana had many.....

Elway was the most clutch qb in history. Unless you were ahead by 9 and there was only 1 second left, you were in trouble if he had the ball.

Montana was the best "big time qb" because he got the most shots to be there and capitalized on most of them. Lyle aikman is an ok quarterback but neil o'donnell should've been the cowboys mvp for superbowl 30 because he clearly threw the game.

You can check this out and i promise it will work out damn near all of the time. When they show a sportcenter montage clip of an offensive player over the pass ten years, if theres more than 5 clips i guarantee GUARANTEE gb is one of the defenses they show getting burned lol.

the new england thing after 9/11 is shady as fuck especially after you throw in the tuck rule (which they untucked out of their ass) but Montana had dorsett behind him jerry rice alongside him and ronny lott on the other side of the ball no way is that team not succeeding. If im not mistaken young had t.o. and the nfc wasn't that impressive back then either (superbowl 31 is the last legitimate nfc champion. The 37th? superbowl when the bucs beat the raiders was messed up because gruden knew exactly how gannon was gonna play and they still had audibles in their playbook that gruden designed. How's that same roster doing right now? exactly.

    ....Dorsett played for Dallas

Montana had Roger Craig behind him....Rice was a little young for Joe, Montana's main guy was Dwight Clarke
