I hate to say this but now I have really, really noticed what a bunch of biased, nuthugging, stupid motherfukers taking over the forum as of late..... I'm telling you the new neighbors are really driving property values down around here...

I hate to be negative and I have my favorites, but its getting just down right unbearable... I know that its my choice to be here and no one forces me and if I dont like it then I should stay away... But as of anything else I guess I feel since I was here longer than I feel like they are communist intruders

But seriously I fukin loathe a few of these dikheads, like I want to bash there gotdam faces in with a cole shovel

The rapid influx of Pavlik and Pac huggers are like knats that are buzzing around your picnic....UTTER FUKIN NUSIENCES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm sure I'll get over it soon and enjoy but in the meantime, it just seems like an mass infestation rather than a friendly neighboorhood move in

The mma forum has been pretty barren until the influx of boxing vs mma threads that even though I promised myself I'd stay out of, I find myself knee deep in. But most of the influx aren't new posters but mma haters from way back...

Haha, that's what I said. I made 1 boxing vs MMA post and thought it was a good post, it went unnoticed and I kept going back for more The sooner those pass the better.

Originally seeing what style would work best in a real fighting situation was a great idea. Just like nadal vs. federer half grass half clay. It happened and it settled the argument. The gracie clowns beat a couple jobber boxers (you can't tell me a legit heavyweight was in that competition) and people who have trained in martial arts that are not realistically useable in real life scenario street fights. The original no holds barred stuff style vs style was a great idea but that should've been the end of it. Now you have a "sport" where people can wrestle but they can get hit with punches. People can box but they can also be tackled and kicked. I think each style should be seperated and competitions should stay restricted to their own styles. It just doesn't add up to me. But if you wanna be helpful, I'd like a copy that shows who was in the original battle royal thing that had a bunch of people from all over the world.

So intelligently enlighten us about the history of the Gracie family and Gracie Ju Jitsu, the orgins, the premise, application etc... I trust you have researched it pretty intensely and thats the conclusion you have come up with.. So for a guy that prides himself on being so educated, I am anxiously awaiting your thorough response

Secondly all i'm saying is they hyped these guys up like they were the shit but they never beat a legit heavyweight boxer. Most boxers would beat all the other martial arts styles in a fight (with the exception of kickboxing and muai thai). Why didn't they have tyson, lewis, holyfield, or even Vitali who was a very good regarded kickboxer by that time in the "ultimate tournament to end all tournaments"? They developed a style that won that tournament good for them that should've been the end to it thats all im saying.

Was probably more or less a bad word choice (They represent in essense the whole mma thing redirected anger is all that is). But i can't see jui jitsu or Brazillian jui jitsu working in a real street fight (in a fight where someone quits in a controled setting where a ref breaks it up than sure) because i know you've seen one of those fights just like i have where one guys says "Ok i'm done" and as soon as the other guy lets him up, he jumps his ass and keeps going lol. It probably works in countries where theres a sense of honor in fighting but i don't think it'd work in america. Also i'm not a fan of mixing everything its like watching a collegiate wrestling match where you don't have to wrestle you can just punch them or you can take them to the ground in a boxing match. Just doesn't sit well with me.
