Ann Wolf is a different story. But I wouldn't rally call her a woman so much as "Satan with braids" as someone else posted earlier.
Training a woman boxer in Ann's weight class,I stand by my assesment
And my fighter actually HAS 1 punch knockout power

    Ok so what about this.....

    vs this

I personally believe this Jorge Arce conquerer and part time movie star would be beaten to death inside 3 rounds if these two fought.

And more to the point I'd LOVE to see it! I can't think of anything better than watching these little tiny men getting their asses whooped by chicks, whilst the likes of El Gamo continue to to try and justify that they are true p4p stars!

    I'm just mean really :P

But it would be funny though, plus it's equal opportunites and all, only fair they get the chance.

imo, a massive one. Ann Wolfe might be a freak of nature type female boxer, I really wouldn't know as I don't really care to see women fight... But that's just me. I also think there's a steep curve where it becomes more plausible that a woman could win with less of a weight edge.. If that makes any sense.. I.e, sure, there are probably some outstanding female boxers who could beat a top male bantamweight while weighing less than say 30 lbs more... But as soon as the male fighter is big enough, I don't give a rats ass how much heavier the woman is, she's not winning in a ring with gloves.. In other words, it wouldn't make a whole lot of difference if a woman outweighed Bernard Hopkins by 25 or 300 pounds, she would get her ass beat down, brutally. If for no other reason than Hopkins has enough natural muscle mass to KO a person of almost any size with one punch. Ivan Calderon couldn't hurt me with his best shot if I was asleep standing up, you know?.. As soon as your talking below featherweight though then sure, but once the man is big enough to break an egg, it's going to take some sort of freak of nature female with a massive size advantage to even make it a fight.

I've posted this some weeks ago...its not directly the topic of this thread, but something
like two or three month ago german late night show entertainer Stefan Raab challenged
female german boxlegend Regina Halmich for an exhibition fight for the second time..the last time
ended with a broken nose for the entertainer ...
Raab never boxed in his life(besides their first fight) and is an average healthy 40 years old man...
He outweighs Halmich by something like 70 pounds...the fight was scheduled for 6 rnds and it
may look like an entertaining joke, but Raab took it quite seriously...even though he has no skill
at all, he trained for six weeks and among other things trained a little bit with Felix Sturm...
But will it be enough to stand against a professional female boxer ...

Here are the first three rnds:

In theory I think that in our modern age of no discrimination men and women should be able to fight with each other, but obviously women being naturally weaker then men would need a weight advantage, question is how much?

I reckon a top female boxer weighing around 154 should be a fair fight for a man say under 120 lbs.

And I reckon a weight of about 168 lbs for a woman would be a fair handicap for a man say upto 130 lbs.

So my question is this, could a top women fighter, say super middleweight or above beat a top 130 lb say Isreal Vasquez or even R Marquez?

    All opinions welcome
    HONESTLEY...

i think its pointless to do woman vs amn at any weight differential...

but back when i used to smoke WAAAAAAAAAYYYYY too much weed i was real hyped for ann vs man before they cancelled that shit

I agree with your assessment regarding the two pictures, Bilbo. The woman would clobber him into a coma, afterall, he is no bigger than her 10 year old son.

I have no idea if she has a son or not, I'm simply adding to your point.

Good thread. Almost as good as your child assassins thread from last year.

That end of the sport is so raw right now, there are very few legit BOXERS in it
Its not a matter of raw talent,or needing a handicap, its more a matter of a legitimate amateur scene.
By the time most men turn pro, theyve done Gold Gloves,Junior Olympics, the Olympics, etc, etc
Most women are 30 before they even step in to a ring for the first time
A few short years from now,now that amateurs is starting to take off for women, watch the whole scene change
No more talk about handicaps to be sure
cc , Re Ann Wolfe . you got that right, seen her a few years back in Austin ,Texas. she was working 160 lb (men) sparring partners over something fierce. at times you couldn’t tell who the woman was and who man was . The only way you could tell was the woman was pressing and moving forward. , and the hair coming out the back. a real testament to the sport.

35-40 pounds up to 168.....after that I dont think it would matter how much the woman weighed.....I think a 140lb man could beat a 200 pound woman....so a woman at 168 and the man at 132-128...any higher weight for a man and its lights out....those guys at 140 walk around at 160 or more....
It feels good to be back home.

Holly Holm could beat any man if she would fight wearing a thong.
