dont get me wrong the kid as F****** skills... yet he is to lazy to really put them into ture content!

he has a great jab,a good chin good footwork... but looking at his biggest win v hopkins, he 'beat' a guy who would only fight 1 min of a 3 minute round... taylor will notcomite him self... if he did he would of beaten winky without to much trouble.. te bullshit "i spent to much" in the ouma fight after 4 F****** rounds would not of happened and the spinks fight would of been easy for him...

make no istake taylor can box, but he needs to get his a** into gear and prove it

even still I'm not sure he's an incredibly skilled fighter, that right hand is telegraphed all to hell and I'm not totally sure he has a good chin, I think that's still debatable.

I guess it would be his jab like Ice Cold said but he hasn't really been using it. He's also extraordinary at getting Jim Lampley to say "big right hand from Taylor" even when it lands on the other guy's gloves or shoulder, or not at all.

He's just not that good. To be honest ANY strong, tough, hard working, big middleweight with good fundamentals could be world champion right now. B Hop and Winky are FAR from unbeatable, I'd fancy Pavlik to beat both of them, Froch to beat both of them, Mundine to beat both of them etc.

Taylor is the only big, young middleweight either of them has faced. Guys like Eastman, Soliman, Quartey etc are hardly real middleweight contenders.

He is a very good athlete. His jab was one of the best in the business until he recently abandoned it. It's strange...i give him props for fighting Hopkins and Wright...but i think those fights, along with Spinks, threw off his style. He just seems like a fighter searching for a comfort zone again. And it doesn't help fighting guys like Spinks, Hopkins, and Wright. I think the best thing for him right now is to fight an aggressive brawler...like a Miranda...someone who will bring the fight to him and force him to come out of his shell and show some fire. I think it's a bit early to think he cannot regain his early potential...but he definitely needs to step up. First thing is for him and his team need to find a good opponent that will let him showcase his talent and be an exciting match up.

Personally...I think that Taylor has learned to do just enough to win.

He's got a great jab & loads of skills...but he's learned that with HBO behind him he'll be bankable...no matter what or how little he does.

His jab is a thing of beauty fast and strong, i think he could beat just about any middle/super middle weight if he applies him self and uses his JAB kindda like ali.
I still dont know why fighters with a great jab neglect to use it like JT and ODLH, u would think that with the level there on they would learn to use there best asset
