I think it was Floyd's worst performance and one of Castillo's best, obviously overall Floyd's a better fighter but I think watching that fight, the 2nd fight and De La Hoya v Mayweather I think Hatton most definitly is capable of beating Floyd. Hatton came out today and said something like "Mayweather is really talented, but as far as being a tough guy, I've had tougher dinners," Hopefully something this pisses Floyd off and he wants to fight.
    Floyd will beat Hatton.
All I can say is I hope we get to find out, and we'll agree to disagree on who we think the victor will be . It seems to me your quite clued up on Mr Mayweather, can you see him taking this fight?
I'd like to see it, but not sure if it will happen yet. Floyd has some options, and he'll probably end up fighting either Oscar or Mosely, because the other WWs, (Cotto, Tnoy) are promoted by Arum, and he's not going to sign a fight with Floyd at this time. If Hatton beats Castillo, and Oscar says no to a rematch with Floyd, then we may just have Hatton-Floyd. But, then again, If Cotto destroys Zab, and Margarito loses, Arum may have a change of heart, and try to match-up Cotto with Floyd. alot of possibilities. hopefully, the good fights keep rolling.

Hatton has alot of big mountains to climb before he gets anywhere near Mayweather.

In terms of fanbase, celebrity and pulling power Hatton has climbed the same mountains. If you put Mayweather in his hometown, and Hatton in his hometown, Hatton would outsell Mayweather at least 2 to 1. You put Mayweather v Hatton in Grand Rapids, or Manchester, Manchester will always sell more tickets. You put it in Wembley or Vegas, Wembley will always sell more tickets. That's how the fight game works. That's before you even start talking about opponents. Gatti wasn't big because of his talent, it's because people wanted to watch him fight. Mayweather v Sharmba Mitchell shows you his pulling power, it's almost non-existant. People buy tickets to see Floyd get beat by the guy they love. No one in the fight game has fans who are more loyal, passionate, and have money to spend than Hatton.

JLC won this fight imo. I've seen in at leat 6 times,it was close but I think JLC won.

"The compubox stats in that fight are misleading. Many of Castillo's landed blows were light right hands that he threw when the fighters were in a clinch. While waiting for the ref to step in, Castillo would repeatedly hit Mayweather on the side. This is completely legal, but misleading. Since they were right hands, they count as power shots, when in reality they were no more damaging than a stiff jab." SweetPea

But how do we know those were being counted? And some of those must have been just has hard as some of the shots Mayweather was landing which looked more like stiff jabs to me. The second fight was close too!
