Zab is not naturally bigger,he may be taller but Cotto is a big big guy. He looks taller than Miguel but he could be standing on something. Miguel looks mean with the beard!

I don't mind seeing Cotto with a beard...I would mind seeing someone like Calzaghe with a beard before a fight with Kessler...who knows what damage the razor could do to his face to prevent him from going through with the fight...and while trying to stop the bleeding he slipped on his blood and slammed the 3rd knockle on his left hand on the sink thus breaking it and the match is off!

    Well Jeter...

I think it is a toss up. Not depending on "which Zab shows up" But on which gameplan is brought.

Judah should utilize his jab and his uppercuts in this fight because Cotto keeps earmuffs on as Teddy atlas would put it.

And Cotto can be hit with a jab, he isn't a defensive genius, but neither is Judah.

If Cotto wants to take out Judah he should bring his own jab, that would be a shocker if cotto whipped out a jab. He shouldn't try to land his left hook until later.

But this is the main thing in this fight, Cotto can afford to make a mistake and come back and win, however if Judah makes one this fight could be over. judah needs to be flawless in this fight, while Cotto can make mistakes and still pull it.

Thats the strategy I WANT to happen.

The strategy I think is gonna happen is they are gonna send Zab out there winging shots to the head and Cotto being patient to counter on the inside of those shots and taking him out late or Judah surviving the distance or doing "just enough" to lose.

Could go like the mayweather fight in terms of the fight turning.

If I'm Judah I bide my time early and go to Cotto's body with my straight left hand and my jab and uppercut whenever he makes his shuffle to get in and then tie him up and get seperated back at distance where I use my legs and my jab and moving in on cotto whenever I see him loading for that body shot. I would NOT just stalk him otherwise Cotto is gonna target practice. Smart Offense, the way that Hopkins tracked down Trinidad and dance to a 12 round win, and if I get him stunned to not rush in and waste my energy but look for openings. Use my advantages. my speed and footwork and make Cotto move every 5 seconds. I go one way to set a punch and then move the other way, instead of making cotto walk forward I make him move side to side and switch up on him and fire down the middle to his gut or his chin when he does that hope to switch position.

If I'm Cotto I'm patiently waiting for Judah to back off me and then rushing him when he's trying to get in his wind, and the moment I see him throw a hook to my body 9 times out of 10 he's coming up with his hands at his waist and thats when I throw my hook, it may not land but eventually it will. I will also look for times as Zab has tendency to let himself back into the ropes and look to counter without using his jab, its at that time I use MY distance and jab to go to his body. I also back Zab up with a jab whenever in distance before he gets off and either stop him late or win a decision with him chasing after me in the 12th round and keeping him frustrated with the jab, very similar to the way Marco Antonio Barerra fights.

So it depends on who execute's their gameplan, what do you think Jetson?

I agree, I wonder what his walking around weight is, does anyone know?

He looks as emaciated as he did for Malignaggi and that was at 140.
Cotto may have to move up to 154 to fight Mayweather after this (never happen i know)

For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.

Superb analysis my man,CC. I agree with it,the key part being that which is highlighted Geoff. I have seen Miguel work on his right hand too,the straight right along with the left hook could be useful v southpaw Zab.
