I like Taylor in this fight. how can you go against a guy who has fought Hopkins twice and Wright once. The only question I have is why Taylor seems to fight at the level of his opponents. Alot of guys who do that sometimes lose just because they get caught. Hearns was a great fighter who fought at the level of the guys he fought. He would fight guys like Dewitt and struggle a little and then fight Virgil Hill and do better with Hill than with Dewitt. Never understood that. He fought better with better guys.

Because I think some boxers need that opponent they know they can loose to, to be motivated and be at their best. It's not that they consciously take these other opponents lightly necessarily they may still go thru the same training camp and what not, but subconciously there is probably something in the back of their head that says that they can beat this lesser opponent easily, where as if they fight a top guy they KNOW they better be at their best or they won't win.

I think Taylor right now is being very under estimated. The pros don't put him in the top ten almost unanimously for nothing.

Yeah but styles make fights, and people base opinions on last performances. He has never fought someone like Pavlik. Although I do think JT ca win this fight, with his jab.

Nothing to do with that its him looking worse in every fight if there is one fighter to beat him at Middleweight its definetly Pavlik.

No it was Winky, I think Pavlik could win, but Winky is far better pressure fighter who is quicker, and nearly impossible to hit.

I ment at the moment Taeth because Wright has moved up.

Thats what they said when Pavlik fought McCart. He too fast for you hes to experienced. After the embarrassing fight MCart said that Pavlik is the real deal. Not once did he look awkward. Pavlik did take some shots but he knocked the former champ down twice and finished him early. I still don't think Taylor has the chin that Pavlik has and Taylor seemed to be backed up with ease. Especially by a Smaller Uoma and a smaller Wright. What do you think Pavlik will do. Pavlik tore clean through the most feared fighter in the division. I think that leaves a mental imprint on you. I know it made me nervous.

Just like his last three or four patty cake compations.

He is stepping in with a guy that swats like no one else in the class and has the chin to match. Also a sound technical fighter.
