I normally don't agree with Sal, but I'll make an exception here.

I was fooled, hoodwinked, bamboozled, jived, humped, led a stray in paying for that Floyd Oscar crap.

Cotto Judah was worth every penny.

It is PPV Solely because you know nothing about boxing and have no reason bieng at this forum..

    Still here?

    I hope not..
i know plenty about boxing and i don't feel as though this is worth being a PPV fight either.
    Did you buy Judah/PBF?

    I bet you did.

Which fight do you think was better?

IMO because I am a Cotto fan, I would have to say this evenings fight was great.

Worth just as much as PBF/Judah.

Only thing is that Floyd did not finish the job.

Cotto beat the crap out of Judah and PBF did not.

Cotto can beat anyone PBF can.

    My boy is P4P

Your boy is retired. Your boy was pound for pound.
Why don't you retire with him and that will be the end of that.

Or tell your man to come back and get some of this P4P.

You never quit huh Danny... Just chill out a bit, no need to gloat any time something goes the way you hoped, it's very immature. I also doubt Cotto would beat Oscar at 154, but you never know I guess.. That would certainly be one hell of a PPV worthy fight if DLH chooses to fight again.

No offense...but you my dear bwoy...well...your'e a fool for even asking that question.

Pay for the fight & support your sport...also...the outcome of the match is what proves that boxing still has what it takes to go the distance.

Arum is going to try and build Margarito vs Cotto. I think he can build it up but not like a Hearns/Leonard. Neither guy is as big as Hearns or Leonard. I think Arum should do what they did with Hearns and Leonard in 1981. Leonard fought for the Junior Middleweight title vs Kalule and Hearns defended his title vs. Pablo Baez in June, 1981. That set up the big fight in Sept. 1981. If Margarito wins, they should have Margarito and Cotto defend on the same card and then fight each other. That would make it big.

Very good. Very mature responses from the bulk of the forum...

Support the sport? By shelling out 50 bucks every time a fighter is on that has a recognizeable name?

Now in hindsight you can bash my thinking because it turned out to be a good fight. Going INTO it, you know what, never mind. It matters little. I will continue to check in out of boredom, but i guess i dont know enough about boxing to participate.

When 90% of the people agree with you then it's time to worry. Stay put, brother.

PBF did not really beat Oscar.
    That was not a beating.

I have said this once and I will say it again.

Cotto can beat any one PBF can beat and even finish them faster.
    That would include
    Sosa
    Corley
    Judah

    OldenSmear
    Shatti

This also includes old azz ODLH.

One body shot from Cotto and Oscar will be on his side rolling around and squeeling like a little piggy.

Recognizable names mean very little as evidenced by the DLH vs PBF. PBF talked crap for months to sell the fight and on fight night he didn't give us half the fireworks he promised and DLH tried to do his part but 1 fight in 3 years didn't help his rythm any.

Cotto vs Judah on the other hand matched up two real fighters and you gotta say Zab is a fighter the way he went all out suspect chin and all. It had everything you want in a championship fight.

I paid for Cotto vs Judah but saw PBF vs DLH the next week. Stop thinking the guys with the most money and the biggest names are going to give the best fights and you will save yourself alot of disappointment.

While the fight certainly was worth the $50, the word is that it only did about 250,000 buys, which is a disappointing figure.
