Besides you'd need a basic grasp of math.

I can't see Hatton lasting more than 3 rounds against Oscar.
Hatton is tough i think he would last into later rounds but would probably get stopped on cuts Hatton at 147 is not fighter he is at 140 as we all know.

I'm with Memphis on this one young man. I reckon this one is a win-win situation for everyone, with the promoters and the fighters all making bucketloads of money. And to be honest, I'm not convinced Oscar has the quality to go the whole hog with young Ricky Hatton....especially with Hatton being able to move up in weight again.

Relax. You know damn well if it wasn't for the calculator killer has attached to his sports book your ass would be lost just like when you were in high school trying to learn how to add and subtract.

Unfortunately for the Americans who have to work with technology to tell them the answers...here in Britain all of our maths' exams have mental arithmetic sections built into the qualification. So there.

It'll be the Arturo Gatti fight all over again. Except I don't think Hatton can last 5 like Gatti did. Hatton is just as easy to hit, if not more. He doesn't hit as hard as Gatti. So he can't hurt Oscar. Not to mention the fact that Oscar has a history of cutting up fighters with his punches. And Hatton cuts. This will be a massacre. It's that simple.

But surely massacres are the most crowd pleasing of fights, think Pavlik Miranda, Calzaghe Lacy, Gatti Mayweather. Personally I love to see a fighter get beaten down and ripped apart.

Well Englishman anyway. I love to see an Englishman batter a German, Frenchman, Scott or Mexican especially. I don't mind the Welsh as I like Calzaghe and they occupy such a small, primitive rural backwater that they can barely be considered a nation any more than Cornwall can, no offense of course

Obviously Oscar thinks he can beat Hatton anywhere anytime but not Cotto?

Not to worry youngster, having lived in pretty much every permutation between london and a tiny village on the edge of a market town, I know what primitive rural backwaters really are. It's good to know that you have expanded your cultural diversity to include the Welsh. Will you also show your support for Amir Khan, even though he is neither white nor from Kensington?

What's the point? Is Oscar trying to find yet another way to add to his "legacy"? Honestly, I find little, if any point whatsoever with Oscar fighting Hatton.

Very nice. Totally agree...but...BUT...that being said...it would sell & be good for the sport as far as generating viewers & ratings.

lol I'm not young, old and bigoted in fact hehe.

I don't mind Amir actually, he's far and away our best rising star so I'll support him. I like Louis Hamilton too so you can see I'm not racially blinded. I even like the Welsh and their quaint choir singing ways.
