Is the winner P4P number 1?

I am not excited about this at all. I think this is the fight where Bernard looks old. Winky is better than Tarver altogether, so Bernard winning that way I think is unlikely. I think Winky wins a boring decision. Excited? Not really. Hopkins is way past him prime. They can market this and make it seem like a good fight.

It's a fantastic match up, the press conferences have been great and I think we're going to see much more action than some people are expecting, Winky knows how to fight on the front foot so I think he's going to be bringing it. The winner of this HAS to fight the winner of Calzaghe v Kessler in my opinion and we can crown an undisputed best between 160 - 175.
Remember the good old days, we miss you Marco!

Stinky Wright is a natural Junior Middle lefty that outslicks his opponents sliding a fluid sharp jab into them from left field and presenting absolutely nothing to fight at since his stance is a perfect thin line from where you can only see his right lead come... I believe the key to beat him is to step in the distance that fast and swing a balanced right shot rotating 90º clockwise back and forth or to counter right as Winky extends and has to get back to position and Bernard has the tools to do it... Unfortunatelly that can be as exciting as watching paint dry on the wall, a pose fest with single digit connects per round but if you love to see master technical chess players that's the fight for you... Worst Fight Bernard could have chosen at this point - Shutout for Stinky

Why are you saying stinky? Wright is tough guy, who has been trying to take out his last few opponents. I don't see how people think he is boring. Does a guy have to take out an opponent to be exciting? Winky throws a ton of punches, and he shows tactical perfection in the ring. Also I don't think you can use footwork and angles to beat Winky. As Leonard found out against Hearns that a good jab nullifies footwork, and is near impossible to counter. The way to beat Winky is to throw a lot of punches He has a tendency to try to cover up, and he doesn't throw punches back until the opponent is done throwing punches. I think Hopkins should throw combinations then tie WInky up so he can't counter.

if Winky fights like he used to (not like his previous few fights) he beats B-hop imo. If he tries to open up and land the big punches he could find himself in trouble against this old master/.

cc gudnite. I agree. If Winky fights an aggressive fight Hopkins will control the fight. Winky should fight his same boring style and win a boring decision.
