I mean Tito had made front pages of local news paper El Nuevo Dia in 4 consecutive days. Meaning there is no doubt that he is really coming back in boxing (I'm not happy with that). But the talk now is with who?

He said that his first Option is Mayweather with himeself said he likes the Idea and he don't mind Tito come in at 160 but PBF as well want to go to fight at a weight he like too. But names like Jermaine Taylor, Roy Jones Jr and It does NOT SAY that he is willing to fight the Winner of B-Hop/ Winky.

Mayweather/Tito is not one I want to see. Mayweather is so much better and Tito is so much bigger. Mayweather should win, but the size of Tito is the big advantage for him. Why give him such a big advantage. I would like to see Tito move up and fight Roy Jones Jr. That is a fight which I would be excited about. Roy would knock out Tito in 5 or if Roy is diminished he wins an easy decision.
    Lol...Oookkk..

Right so you have made your statement.. Wild as i may believe it is..

    Now back it up..

Where is your theory behind your prediction?

    Peace
Theory behind why I think Roy would beat Tito? Tito is not an effective aggresor.. He comes forward but all he has is the left hook as a counter. The right hand would just give Roy a well needed breeze and would let Roy know the left hook is coming. Either way Roy sees it coming. Roy would be moving and moving and not letting Tito set and he certainly would not give Tito a chance to counter. Similar to how Hopkins did not. Difference is that Roy would not wait until Tito is tired to start to pour it on. Roy would counter those punches and stop Tito or really make him look bad winning a decision. And Roy is quicker than Hopkins. I think Roy is too skilled and great for a guy like Tito. I do not think a left hook from Tito would come close to landing. Tito is good at landing those punches with Joppy, but not with a Roy Jones Jr.

If Trinidad comes back Jones Jr is probably his best bet of a victory. Floyd would school him (Think Winky/ Trindad all over again). I'd even favor him to beat Taylor! I would love to see Trinidad back but at 35 (in January) time is not really on his side... but I'm sure if the right fights are made it'll be fun while it lasts!

I am one of Tito's biggest fans but the only fight I would be remotely interested in him coming back for would be Oscar and it appears that cannot be made. His legacy is cemented,he should just stay retired! If he loses and retires again,it gives the naysayers more to use against him.

Sounds like Tito is chasing the money. Is he skint now or something? He'd get owned by Floyd.

Tito is walking around at aprrox. 192, he's got a lot of weight to shed before he can even dream about getting back into boxing...If he does'nt shed that weight now and decides to try shed it all in the training camp for a fight, he's already signing his own death warrant.

If someone walks to you and say "Hey I give you $30,000,000 Millions to fight this guys, will you come back?" Anyone will do it that is what happened the last time with Mayorga.

You see first off you imply on a stoppage loss for tito..

Like tito is supposed to have a bad chin or something? Tito has a great chin!

You still speak of roy like he is still prime p4p best.. Roy as of late is not a shade as far as workrate stamina and affectiveness/power goes of himself..

If they were to meet at 168 for example.. I would favour tito highly

You should do your research on tito and know him better before analising his performance..
Tito used lateral movement and slips punches..He is in no way shape or form ' set '

Tito has fair handspeed, and his timing can be immense at the best of times.. he stays on the ball of his back foot and the technique and timing in which he can leap in and turn in with left hooks and strait fight hands is incredible.. I could go on all day but i wont

As for roy as of his last few performances all he has seemed to do is need his space to potshot..
He doesnt look strong like he used to but he managed to keep ajamu off him with combo's and moving.. move move move potshot.. Hes a potshotting fighter these days..
Tito wont take a backwards step and all roy wants is space.. Which is the sole reason why johnson beat him..Johnson was hungry, roy is paying for all those years abandoning the jb because its near impossable to create space without it and he isnt that seasoned with his jab.. and glen just kept on until it payed off..

And the biggest thing of all.. Is "Timing is the answer to speed".. When you have a fighter with 'good' speed, Awesome power and great timing like tito trinidad..
And a guy who is on the slide and has suffered two recent brutal knockouts and inactivity to match tito
You get a fight that has some crazy prospects

The only thing that would worry me about Tito is ring rust do to inactivity. He is not old. Heck, Hopkins is old and look at him go. It's not like Tito has been in a lot of wars, he's only been hurt once in his entire career. I wish he had time for a tune up but he really doesn't.

I have a lot of problem with statements about Tito saying all he has is a left hook. Come on, you have got to be kidding. He has a very good jab and a great right hand and, before Cotto came up, he was the big body puncher in the welterweight division. I keep saying that those guys that think Tito is not that good only saw his last 4 or 5 fights. He was probably one of the top five WW of all time.

Maywether does not have an easy fight with Tito, not at 160, no F***ing way. Tito would not flurry with soft punches like DLH did. Tito would rip him with his hard shots and even if they didn't land clean, they would move Floyd back all night. Floyd could still out box him, but to say that it would be like Winky is way off. Floyd style is tottally different than Winky. And it would not be easy.

Tito has a real good shot at Taylor. But Taylor is bigger, stronger, younger and a fight with Tito would also make him hungrier. But also Tito's style might give Taylor a lot of trouble if he can't keep Tito away from him.

Jones Jr might be a bit too big for him but he also might be even more past it than Tito is. And here is a guy who's chin is REALLY in question.

The only question is how rusty is Tito? Greater comebacks have been made. Leonard was out for 5 years before getting that decision against Hagler.

    GOod calls!

As far as roy goes.. I think roy has been far too inactive aswell so that may level it a bit

Also.. Imo Jermain is the best fight for tito.. Jermains inconsistancy is there to be prayed on..
He is just not busy enough and you cant wait with a guy like tito..

Jermain i think could last the distance with trinidad but i dont see the initiative to take over a busy solid fighter like trinidad.. If he came back with all the tools i say jermain doesnt do it..

I think joe c however does cause tito more hassle... I would like to think tito wins but i think that joe is busy if he is anything.. I think joe has been put down by far weaker punchers and would like to think tito could put him down but if joe is anything he is busy, fit and he has heart at least..
Tito by 7 rounds to 5 for me..

Mayweather.. That remains to be seen..

I think mayweather is too young and agile perhaps.. I think he would know to use his movement and all we would see is a mix of tito - oscar and floyd- baldo..
But saying that if floyd fought felix like he fought oscar then i think floyd would be in for a massive shock!

Oscar on the other hand .. Well..For one he isnt as comfortable fighting 160..And thats the only weight the fight gets made..

Tito is alot more secure at middlweight.. Oscar especially at this point in his career couldnt move like he did in the first fight..
I see a boxer puncher match with tito winning an entertaining decision to make up for the first fight..
Oscar is a hell of alot more hittable nowadays and i think tito has the better chin and better stamina if he trains right and is sharp like he was against mayorga then he could bully him into frustration and confusion for a decision..

Tito must be broke and both him and Don need to heat up after being frozen outside the spotlight. Cotto has taken the heart of Borinquens, Oscar came back to center stage and came out with money and his reputation untouched, Winky is filling his pockets and claiming P 4 P status... 35 year old Tito must be running out of options to shine once more and comes out of retirement in one all or nothing effort... Mayweather is the perfect scape goat for a fighter like Tito, if you lose to him you are not going to look bad cause he cannot hurt ya and you wouldn't do worse than others, if you manage to win somehow you win the biggest prize in boxing today... Compare if Tito took on Cory, he still would lose and come with little more than nothing and back into oblivion
